Quote:school during the week, work on the weekends, gaming happens occasionally on weekday evenings, and rarely on weekends.Hmmm, so it sounds like you need to do some on Saturdays so I can join in!
Sunday evenings is a possibility, but school just started, so it'll take a week or two to figure out a good time to get it in regularly. -
we'll likely make this a weekly thing, so those repeated attendees can have IoPs all the time!

save a spot for Speed Trap. He came back from the grave last night and wants to join
scrapper or... blaster I think? I forget what all he has. -
you keep your wife's computer in the dining room... right next to the kitchen I presume?

as long as your video card won't overheat using dual outputs, yeah. Just plug them both in with standard VGA cables (or whatever your card/tv/monitor can use, HDMI, DVI, etc). Sometimes you'll have to reboot your tower for it to recognize that another device is plugged in. Otherwise, open your video control panel, and enable your secondary screen (as a duplicate of the primary, or in addition to).
How you do this depends entirely on what OS you're running... and what your video card is.
Given that, we could provide the step by step to get it done. -
yeah... my subwoofer turned into a table. It happens sometimes :[

load CoX in windowed mode, for starters. Full Screen causes all kinds of problems when running two displays, and multiple windows.
After doing that, you can have your vent/steam/xfire channel open (or your AIM/yahoochat/ skype/etc), a browser, mids' hero designer (or two or three), any media player, and still see your tuning utility software for monitoring temps and CPU/Mem usage.
My second screen is actually a TV. so I can has playstation (or Obama) and CoX at the same time :O -
no joke, I got that one today. when I read it in the forums...

My problem was that I was searching for locations that matched the description, not necessarily badge locations.
- Control the bridge, control the turf- for example, to me meant the bridge where sky raiders and council are fighting in Striga.
It makes sense, just the wrong kind >.< -
over this last week, about every other day I was home (5 of 7 days), I would pick a thread in the beta forums, and read everything. KM for one day, FA the next, CoP for another (ignored zones, read a bit on badges). It's a lot of freakin stuff. I feel sorry for the people who will get slammed with all this stuff without any ahead-of-time knowledge :/

I run on pretty much max settings with 2 exceptions: FSAA is 8x instead of 16 of 32 (they both take off about 10 frames with each increase), and occlusion strength: I leave at normal. Strong and Strong with color Bleeding hit the frames pretty hard. I run at 30+ frames on 1 account, and if I run at minimum settings, It's closer to 140ish fps.

Plasmic says otherwise... but I'll leave that up to discussion, I honestly don't know.

your datalink is borked and you didn't include datachunk.

since your defenses are typed, shooting for positional defenses isn't really a good idea. Even with the s/l defense hole that WP has, you'd still be better off stacking for that type anyway.
If you're fine with not having a travel power (with ninja run), if you tell us what powers you don't want, and if you also provide a build budget, that will help those of the forums to better supply you with a build you're looking for.
"A good build" can come in many forms. It heavily depends on what you're specifically looking for. -
random thought partially on topic... have any of you considered the siphon insight +tohit proc in cloak of fear? CoF only ticks every 5 seconds, but a 10% chance for 20% for 10 seconds seemed pretty good on an AoE (and the set has another 3.75% s/l defense).
I'm not to that level yet, but whenever my db/da gets that high, I'd like to try it just for kicks. -
I typically gave -rep to those who were farming -rep (ahem... Golden Girl).
otherwise, green rep to everyone I know, but for no rational reason. -
last I saw and tested (no idea how long ago this was, however) the procs could fire off after the first hit, which is nice.

good idea: asking people to talk about stuff they can actually talk about
bad idea: the opposite. -
the salvage from AE is still a crappy argument. What of those of us who don't actually enter that building? ever? Since other people do, and get salvage that way, now I'm practically forced to, or I'll otherwise have to slow-buy or high-bid all the salvage I need.
I hate AE. It's cool and all, but I still would prefer it to be completely separated from general gameplay.
aside from that...
This pure-merit thing just looks like a reward for those who don't switch. Switchers get more access to more content (thus resulting in more stuff {IOs, salvage, etc}), so those with less access get more stuff to stay up to par with those who don't.
t's an in-addition-to thing, not another have 3, keep 1.
