You would *have* to pay me to eat there. Did your meal come with insurance?

Mids and Steiner discuss The Mids-Steiner Baton Pass in the same breath in all of their posts. How did you get the first part, but not the rest?

This thread delivers. I don't know what it delivers, but here is a whole hot plate of it.

What the heck are you talking about? -

I want to slot a toon of mine with IO's. I have around 5 billion at least of infamy. Any suggestions?
[/ QUOTE ]
Holy crap. Do you have that spread around multiple characters, or is it in dummy auctions at the BM? -
QR: Heh, I think we need one of those for the wiki.
-
Definitely in-game, I have it on all my characters. Haven't tried mixing the powers around yet, though.

wait over the weekend, weekend buyers tend to me more in the noa state of mind.
[/ QUOTE ]
Agreed. Items tend to be in less demand and have less value during the week, vs. being more in demand and thus possessing a higher value over the weekend.
Having said that, stupid things still happen. I bought a stack of rare recipes, crafted the IOs, and checked the last five sales. All had been for eight million. So I posted five for seven million. A week later, none had sold, and the last five was now at five million. I pulled three down, and posted them back up for three million. None have sold, and this past weekend the last five was down to one to two million apiece. I haven't relisted, but every market slot tied up is going to waste.
I missed something, somewhere. Some of the stupid was my own, but sometimes the market just gets you. -
If you have any Crab powers, in either build, you will have the pack. This is WAI, currently, and not a bug.
I don't understand what you are talking about regarding your billing.
The Patron Plaques problem is a known issue. Given how close we are to the I15 beta, it is relatively likely that any fixes in the pipeline are included with or following the first I15 build. At this point in time, your best bet is to look up the information out-of-game. -
-100 style points for lack of posing, costumes, or appropriate emotes. C'mon!

I've been using, I think, gaseous torso aura in a matching color. So then you have the high-collar Arachnos cape, nestled Arachnos helm, and you can't see anything inside the cape. Just kind of...darkness surrounded by Arachnos cape and topped with a helmet.

Whatever, Mr. Incarnate. -
Also, it's helpful to know that to get Hasten perma, you actually have to have more +recharge set bonuses than Hasten itself gives. It's important to keep things in perspective: you'll already have perma-Hasten, and you'll never actually have to take Hasten itself.
Having said that, as you have seen, people do it. -
Something isn't working out right, then. You didn't, by chance, change your difficulty, did you? Check in the upper right hand corner of your mission select screen. Does it say "Heroic-Challenge Level 1" or something like that?
If not, find a blue icon on your map, and talk to the Hero Corps representative to get your difficulty level back to normal. You should never have more than +1 difficulty in a solo mission on level 1 difficulty. And that should be cake for a Blaster. -

The Magic Cape having access to the CoH CE and CoV CE Capes was not affected by that fix, Snow Globe. This isn't the getting two capes at once deal. This is just the fact that you choose any Cape design you have access to for the High Collar Mantle, just like you can choose them when you use the Asymmetrical Mantle or the Over the Shoulders Mantle.

Thanks for the clarification, Black--I was worried! -

Its getting worse. I had to list items/bid on items multiple times to get them to go through.

I usually have to do this, but it was pretty bad last night. -

I believe it's possible to get a High Collar Arachos Cape if you have both, for the record. It looks sweet.

High-collared Arachnos cape, with a Wolf Spider helm nestled inside, looks awesome. -

I hear that virtue is one to stay away from.

Actually I didn't create that phrase but it might have been created to describe my attitude. I make my money with patience, ruthless efficiency, statistics and mathematical analysis. I spend my money spontaneously, recklessly and with no regard for its value.
*EDIT* Actually now that I think about it I think I did make that phrase

Any time you respec a character with customizable weapons, it basically takes the weapons away, and it will say "unlocked costume piece" when you are re-issued the weapon at the end of the respec.

Correct. In this case, I'm wagering it's the widow claws. -

Also, I've never heard of anyone going, "Crap, I need to make something in the middle of this mission!" But being able to craft Common IOs at a discount with no recipe required...well, that's cash right there, no matter how you twist it.
And as most everyone else has said--you're providing a service that they are willing to pay for. For them, it's easier to pay more (sometimes a LOT more) to just buy it and slot it...vs. finding the recipe, finding the salvage, finding a University, etc.
I figure there is only a small percentage of folks who are legitimately ignorant of the price of an item they are buying. Everybody else just doesn't care. So take one for the team, and make some dough.
