I think it comes from my brief stint in genetics. When I think, "mutation," I'm thinking of "Oh no, there was a transcription error with the RNA, and the wrong amino group was used--now the entire protein will code differently!"
Not, "Double helix? HAH! I have a septuple helix!" whilst waltzing with King Kong.

Quote:What?I second a call for a redname response to this thread; I PM'ed David Nakayama last night.
If Jay, as sexy as he may be, has a personal issue that interferes with his willingness or ability to do his job, then perhaps they need to give him something else to do and find someone who will get the job done. One person's personal objections should have no business impairing the creativity of the entire playerbase. -

Really, nearly any tweakage of the contrast settings or color controls on the monitor could muck up the OP's pov of the XP bar...but until we see a full screenshot including the chat interface with a defeat or two in it we won't be able to guess.
For all we know, the OP has exhausted his patrol XP (leaving a dark gap in the XP bar, and resulting in less XP per defeat). -
According to this, at least since the end of May.

Quote:I think that's it: I'm disappointed because it wasn't what I expected. I'm glad I don't have any mutant or animal characters, because I'd probably be really disappointed. Most people who have posted seem to like it, but it's not what they were expecting.
Perhaps you are in the same boat.
Having said that, bAss as usual has sold me the product. -
Seconding the screenshot request. OP, are you level-pacted? Do you have a documented degree of color-blindness? (In seriousness.)
We'll figure it out yet! -
Quote:Ah, well that would explain why they don't glow, then. Thank you.Didn't read all the post yet, but for anyone wondering, glows are a enviormental reflection, in other words, you need to have UM on.
Still trying to determine why this booster set just feels like a let-down to me. Hrm. -

It's the tragedy of sticky proliferation.

Quote:Awesome, thanks! D-shift is pretty cool, but the Terminator one is awesome. Not mutant at all, IMO, but awesome.Test was extremely laggy so I apologize that this isn't the greatest video ever. But this has the two emotes along with the costume changes.

Quote:It's official, per redname. GR CB is on, and has been. Perhaps this post will satisfy the conspiracy theorists.Unfortunately it is not possible to make it available on the European Training Room at this time. We would need to take the Going Rogue Closed Beta off it for that to be possible & I can't imagine that going down well.
Well, it probably won't. -

Quote:All, it wasn't so much a mistake as it is the automatic redirection that doesn't seem to be functioning properly. The NCsoft site should recognise your IP and redirect you to the relevant site. Apologies for the inconvenience, I'll get someone to look into that.
Just like how the NA store redirects to the EU store? -

Quote:I don't see how it's any different from five people with five characters on five computers, vs. two people with five characters on two computers. Everything was paid for. Well, guess I just don't get it.5 seperate accounts. I can't do it on my laptop, but my desktop could run two instances at once. I'd run a MM set to follow on a corrupter and just tear up <bleeps> villainside. It was sick. Just sick. My husband could run 3 instances on his, two defenders, one on auto heal and one to auto SB, and his scrapper could do things that... well... maybe that's why they wouldn't let me resub cuz that was so many shades of wrong.

Quote:Agreed. Too often and everyone in the zone is going to flag you as a spammer, and with good reason. If you do it that often (at least in one zone) all you're going to get is a whole bunch of people yelling at you to quit spamming. Move around. Personally, I wouldn't pop it any quicker than every couple of hours in any one zone.
The best SG/VGs don't have to advertise, outside of being quality teammates that people will want to play with again. -
Hence the "everyone you know" bit.
