Which is kind of sad, considering how the pack matched up to people's requests. Mind you, the costumes it contains are pretty sweet--they're just not what people asked for. This isn't the core game you're talking about, this is a paid perk you want to SELL to people. And it has been consistently advertised as being the answer to all the animal costume requests.
It should have been what people asked for, and were told, that they were getting...or people should have been told otherwise. The reason why there was the disconnect wasn't entirely because of the content, it was because of what they were told what the content be in advance, when it wasn't.
I don't care about this stuff, so I don't even have a dog in this fight...I'm just saying from the point of view of someone who doesn't care about the dog tail either way. -
Hey, look at that.
Paging...um...everyone who has ever requested a wolf/fox/dog tail! -
The mayhems are definitely worth doing because you can destroy almost anything. Cars, bus stops, parking meters, you name it. And if you have a decent graphics card, the mailboxes spray mail everywhere and you can throw it around. Or kick the parking meter coins around.
Nothing quite makes a villain feel powerful to me, like dropping out of the sky into a parking ramp and reducing every car to a smoking wreck just by landing. -
If you outlevel a contact, it should introduce you to the next one in line. Your contacts should continue to do this, until you reach the ones that are appropriate to your level.
Bar that, your characters can get a newspaper (for villains, from a broker) or a radio (for heroes, from a detective) that will give you random, quick, and basic missions. Complete three to five of them and you'll be presented with a special mission (mayhem for villains, safeguard for heroes). Complete that and the broker/detective that gave you the mission will let you pick the contact you want. -
Quote:Thank ya, ma'am. I forogt about the wiki, so that's a great place for me to start.
How does the system handle outleveling contacts through the Architect system? Do I have to start wherever I left off and work through a bunch of "I have nothing for your security level" and getting new contacts?
The architect determines your level based on the mission. You'll scale to the appropriate level automatically, and will never outlevel anything in the architect. The wiki can be found here, this first link directs you to an overview of the invention system. -
Quote:Absolutely possible. There is probably enough content that you could do it on several characters, and never see the same thing twice. Any cautions? Avoid the junk, enjoy the good--easy to say, hard to do.Is it possible to get to 50 in this system? Is there enough content, or would I have to repeat everything a bunch of times to do that? Are there any cautions about this system?
Quote:When do I need to start getting Invention Enhancements as opposed to single-origin? Does it matter?
Quote:Are there any RP hotspots on Virtue, like the old Park gatherings in Atlas (Skyway, maybe? I don't remember.) where the irish chick used to perch on the rock and then made everyone cry by perma-dying? I hear Pocket D is maybe bleagh nowadays?
Quote:How is the health of the consignment place nowadays? Inflated or reasonable for a new/non-influence-stockpiled character? -

Seeing as how Marcian is actually at E3, I'm sure he (or other player-attendees) would have let us know if anything was happening. I rather took it from the lack of information that there was a minimal, if any, NCSoft presence there (let alone Paragon Studios).
As for the Devs, watch their post counts. If their post count goes up, and you can't find where they are posting... -
I think it's safe to say that Marcus killed Stefan before Stefan drank from the well. Because killing the incarnation of a god is probably more difficult than just snuffing some dude.

Don't confuse the patch with the Booster Set.

My money is on the wishy-washy-unlocked Alpha or Omega idea. Though I don't know why the OP wouldn't just show what pieces they selected and, of course...take a picture that isn't black on black.

Quote:Now I'm certain we aren't playing the same game.Just curious why is the vast majority of people in the Pocket D, hatefilled spewing on about people's race sexual preference you name it. For this being a supposed roleplaying community this shocks me. Or is there better place find like minded individuals? If so point me to this place.

Quote:I would PM Beef Cake, this is probably an oversight from the new website redesign.Map pack at Vidiotmaps.com (now at Badge-Hunter.com).
Link since the new site is confusing.
Edit: Oh thrills, you now need to register to get them. Well that made them 1000% less useful. -
And therein lies the challenge. No one-off missions work, only the story arcs will do. There are guides that suggest which arcs are easier to run for which badges.

Quote:VEATs are not excluded from the Newspaper. Now that practically everyone can play a HEAT or VEAT if they so desire, any chance we might get some more official content or tweaks for them?
For example, maybe the VEATs could get a version of the PPD Radio where they're "assigned" to handle specific situations in their official capacity as an Arachnos Soldier.
The Kheldians could get missions specific to their origin: tracking down supplies of quantum rifles, putting down rogue Kheldians, that sort of thing.
HEATs, by far, have their own unique and over-arching epic storyline that no other ATs get to experience. -
Quote:ok so i start up City of Heroes and i loging but instead of server names it gives what appears to be there location on my computer (Coh/pr...etc) and so i think...wtf? then i click on one and it says wrong game mode must run patcher what does it mean?
Unless you give us details, it is very unlikely that we will be able to help you solve your problem. First, what are you running from--the updater? A bypass? What, exactly, is the error message you see? -
Quote:yeah, I'm serious. While it's not game breaking, it's definitely making things confusing. I ran by the Base Portal and there were two Vahz Mortificators standing there. When I clicked on them, they were Level 54 Monitor Duty Lieutenants.
WUT?
Seriously...are you...for real? -
Unless Mr. N can outright say, "The next pack is Super Booster VI: Beasts and Animals," I'm not sure his presence here will do much to allay concerns. (Outside of the missing tails.)
