Before I16 I had one of every archetype primary/secondary combo (that's a LOT of toons) blueside... so my accounts were pretty full, but I haven't been able to keep up with power proliferation. It gets kind of boring after the 300+th sewer run :-) And yes, I have grave altitis

I quadbox when I solo and I find that 4 accounts is about the right amount to keep me interested in soloing content. Usually the teams are not that optimal, but when I go against hard content I try to have a tank, a damage dealer, a troller and a defender.

I occassionally six-box to try out broken combinations such as 6 thugs/storm MMs and 6 fire/rads with imps.

When I play normally I almost always dual-box or if I am in a PUG where they tell me not to do it (I always inform), I usually do trading with the second account when things are slow (waiting for people to get to missions etc). I fancy that I can dual-box as well as most people can singlebox. It is actually quite relaxing to dualbox compared to quadboxing :-)

When I dualbox I have only one computer with two windows, the secondary toon on follow and I keep the attack chains going just by switching between windows and hitting keys, no software used. When there are three or more toons I have a secondary computer and keyboard and use that as well, although efficiency drop enormously on the 4th toon (which is then usually just a defender on follow)

I find playing just one toon no fun at all at this point, unless it is a scrapper or a 50 firekin and I am watching a documentary or a MMA event (i.e. something you can follow a lot by just listening to it, wouldn't work with a movie) at the same time

I think I might be affected by having once played 18 tables of online poker at the same time regularly.

I just cancel the go-see mission immediatly and move on to the next one. If I have cancelled another mission in the last three days, I leave the toon at the contact, play an alt for 1-3 days and then come back and cancel the mission.

I never do the go-see missions. Serious waste of time.

I am happy that the European friend who introduced me to City of Heroes had a NA account and that I never had the misfortune to experience the EU servers... and I recommend all europeans to have american accounts, its much more fun to play on 11 servers with players than on 2 empty ones (and 2 you can't understand) :-)

I completely agree with the article and would love to see a thousand new maps. Even if they would eventually be old it would still be a time of discovery and joy.

For me, the repetetiveness of maps (or maybe the lack on non-combat content) is the #1 drawback of this game

I think the SSK system really made level pacts unnecessary.

But the developers have stated that they will some time in the future possibly implement many-people-pacts. It is my firm belief that these will appear right after base raids and the moon zone.

I have to say that I love SSk and that these problems, even if they are indeed problems, are quite minor and pale in comparison to everything we had with the old system

The main good thing about x2 xp from a stats perspective, for me, is x2 prestige. If I wants load of XP normally, I just farm or powerlevel my toons, which can easily be done to reach the level you want to be at (usually 20 to get stamina).

But the best thing overall - and the reason I normally take vacation around x2 xp - is the amount of people online. It is SOOO easy to find a team during x2 xp and that is what I like about it.

Just started having this problem a week ago after 18 months of play on the some computer. Felt pretty weird.

Did a brief search, found nothing, and thought I would resurrect an old thread to ask the question (please forgive me if it has already been asked):

I so hope it does not happen in January as I am booked for every weekend. I hope it will be the weekend right next to Valentine's day, then we can do the event and x2 xp at the same time :-)

I also hope that the extra x2 xp weekend we got in October does not delay the regular one in January

Sounds like I should try it out. The only downside I see myself is that I usually play loud music while I play, which probably does not work very well with Ventrilo :-)

I have tons of alts, play on all servers and love to PUG, so I have been moving approximately 20 toons, primarly to and from Virtue & Freedom. Basically I have been moving toons I want to play more on to the more populated servers and moved away toons that I haven't played much
