I ran into this, and couldn't get the end of arc reward, because the arc didn't technically have an end.
The cut scene was a close up of two billboards(from around Sharkhead, I think). IT also breaks the dialogue when you return to Leonard. I has a GM complete that task for me, and the following bank mission was also borked. The Bank Teller wouldn't interact with me at all.
It's like some kind of in-joke accidentally made it to live. -

Quote:In this case, Who first.Hi guys! First off, thanks for all the fantastic footage and information on Dr. Who! Looks like I have another TV show to get into (maybe after I see Ghostbusters 2).
Quote:In other news, I expressed on the last Ustream marathon that I believed Granite Armor could be made customizable. I'll be devoting some of my free time to exploring this possibility. The trade-off would be that the Devouring Earth model is done away with, and replaced with a more generic-looking model that is placed over the character's body, similar to the rest of the Stone Armor powers.
I'd like to hear your thoughts on this trade-off. Thanks to those who have already posted their opinions!
(Ask Beastyle, he'll get it.)
I'm never been a fan of the DE 'Rocksuit' as it completely removes the costume I spent hours on getting right! (yes, hours). -
Quote:Oh, hell yes. Both Regeneration: Revive and Willpower: Resurgence are just next to useless without untouchable. My characters die within a second of using either.i agree. Combat rezzes, especially those for melee ATs, should all have an untouchable period.
Resurgence is particularly bad because Willpower is mostly toggles. -

Quote:Perhaps "In the Beginning". Babylon 5 made 5 TV movies when in was shown on TNT (One for each season--In the Beginning for season 1). I highly recommend getting the DVD's. It's a 5 year arc, and well worth your time.I didn't grow up with television, so I missed a lot. I watched most of Star Trek (we did TOS, TNG, DS9, and the first half of Voyager), but that's about it. I'm kind of sad I missed Babylon 5, BSG, and so on. I've also heard good things about Stargate, which I missed as well.
Eventually I'll go back and rewatch all this stuff. On the other hand, I made up for it by watching loads and loads of SF Anime, so it all works out!

Edit:
I suppose I should clarify that I did see the first season of the new BSG and got frustrated with the characters, which is why I stopped. I still want to finish it though. Additionally, I saw the B5 ?miniseries? ... I don't remember what it was called, but it was a feature-length intro to the series.
As far as my shame goes...
I have never watched a single episode of Supernatural. Also, I didn't watch Firefly until forced to. (The title just didn't sound like anything special--hoo boy was I wrong) -
The animated series is the reason I love Batman.

Quote:Event as a texture, this would add to Hami Creep-factor immensely.--ANIMATED CILIA. What if, for decoration, Hamidon grew the occasional wriggling tendril? Or had several spread across his surface, constantly wriggling? For me, that would make the monster feel more alive, more like a microscopic organism, and a heck of a lot creepier too. (You'll notice 4 wriggling cilia poking through the Seed of Hamidon's shell incidently).
Quote:--CELL DIVISION. In keeping with the giant cell theme, what if the creature split into two smaller pieces at some point during the battle? For me, that would make the raid experience a lot more interesting-- maybe players would have to coordinate efforts between the two halves. Also, it would be great to see this guy move in a major way.
Quote:--SCROLLING SUB-SURFACE TEXTURES. This is something Jay hooked up on the Fallen Seers recently, and it would give the impression that liquid is flowing across/through the cell wall.
Quote:--DETAILED ORGANIC TEXTURES. I'm imagining semi-transparent capillary networks (perhaps with a slight glow, maybe even pulsing) across the creature's "skin." The more organic and alive it gets, the closer I think we'd be to the original idea for this character.
Quote:--FLOATING DEBRIS/BODIES. Again, to enhance the sense of realism and dread, wouldn't it be neat to have defeated heroes and/or rubble floating in the cell fluid? Just the illusion of things floating within the creature would help to sell the notion that it's composed of liquid.
Still, that would be a VERY interesting effect for defeated players to float in the plasm...
Quote:--ADDITIONAL ORGANELLES. If I was in a giant single-celled organism, I'd expect to see more naturalistic and a greater variety of organelles within the creature. Maybe you can target it, maybe it's just decoration.
Quote:--CYTOPLASM BURSTS. We could rig up an effect where the creature sprays fluid after you hit it. You'd have the feeling that you'd punctured the cell membrane and that you were actually damaging it. Anything to make the the fight more visceral would feel like a win for me.
Quote:So there you have it. From an art standpoint, we want to do everything in our power to bring these experiences to life in the most engaging, breathtaking, and super-heroic ways possible. Again, a Primal Hamidon update is NOT on the docket at the moment, but if it were, these are some of the things I'd be thinking about.
For me, changes like these would simply be polish on the core experience, deepening the encounter's sense of immersion and realism and keeping the art fresh and modern. This is a living game after all, and ideally we want the graphics to impress both new players that decide to try us out for the first time while simultaneously keeping things fresh for the veterans. I don't think any of the hypothetical updates listed above would harm the Hamidon experience. In fact, I think they could take what's already cool and make it way, way cooler. What do you think? -

Quote:Considering Poison was considered 'villain only', and now it's being ported to Controllers...The devs specifically said they designed Pain Dom to be Empathy for Villains because they were not going to port Empathy to villains. I think it is likely they will eventually port both now, since defenders are no longer necessarily heroes and corruptors are no longer necessarily villains.

I was on a BAF that where Siege and Nightstar got back up even though they were dropped within 9 seconds of each other. Then, we successfully drop them again, but the timer reached 0 as Siege dropped, so they held the BAF, and we failed the trial. Even though they didn't.

Quote:Petsay has been broken for some time. They rarely play emotes; they say <em emote> instead. Not a big surprise $name and $target don't work either. Is there any way to have your mastermind pet say a players name?
It's easy for a player to do it (/say hello $target)
But when I try it with my pets (/petsay_all hello $target)
My pets only say "hello $target" instead of saying the target's name
Any one know why?
EDIT: although, come to think of it, $target shows as "$target" if you have no active target. The pets themselves only target enemies, not players. They would never say a player's name this way. -
Quote:The UI is very fussy. If I type petsayall <em tantrum>, they will do it.Try this
/macro FP petsay_all < em facepalm >
I just used it on my demons and it worked
If I type it again, they will not.
If I bind they will not.
If I macro they will...once in a blue moon.
The game cannot make up its mind if it will work or not. Sometimes it works, most of the time it won't. -

I figured I was far too late for this...
Boosh.
