Happy birthday, one of several fellow Darks!

Your statistics about subforum post counts are as meaningless as me pointing out that the badges for 45000 characters are being tracked at CIT.
I use badges the most, although that's not saying much since I only really track one hero and one villain. I use MA sometimes but mostly stick to dev content, and lolpvp. -
Quote:Then they should have said that. Saying that side-switched villains can go to the Shadow Shard is like saying that you can unlock a cape at level 20 -- duh.No they didn't. That is the only planned method to go there as a Villain right now.
I'd have been happier with at least "we can't tell you", not "here's an answer to a question no one is asking". -
They totally dodged that question about villainside Shadow Shard access.

Meanwhile, debt has been turned into an almost vestigial game mechanic, the leveling curve has been smoothed, Patrol XP and the Law Enforcer/Arachnos Agent Day Jobs yield XP bonuses, and we get several Double XP Weekends every year.
So yes, this game does have some challenges (and some people have managed to trivialize even those), but it's pretty easy to actually level unless you're an AE baby who got used to leveling a character to 50 in 3 hours. -
I'm a badger and I hate having all but the first anniversary badge on my hero badger -- but I still have to /unsign this. Making previous anniversary badges obtainable after the fact completely defeats the purpose of having anniversary badges. Annual events are different because the events themselves have changed over the years.
I do think they should be global, though. -
Maybe the sign content is randomized, and was regenerated when you changed quality. As for the burger, it's not a real ad.
-
hahahahaha you think this game is difficult to play
hahahahahaha -
I've gotta be honest, I totally forgot that Kora fruit was even a thing, and have never done any of those missions. It's kind of hard for me to get excited about a mission whose reward is a medium-sized inspiration, which are already dropping quite a bit by level 40 anyway.
This is also kind of funny, from the ParagonWiki trivia section for Dr. Huxley (the Kora fruit contact):
Quote:Unless the wiki is out-of-date, they don't even grant the most powerful inspirations!Dr Ada Huxley is a reference to the author Aldous Huxley. Dr. Huxley states, "Kora fruit [..] They act just like the most powerful kinds of inspirations".
EDIT: Otherwise your idea is cool. -
Hell nay.
The devs have already made it pretty clear they don't want to encourage badge farming (not on purpose, anyway; they seem to do a pretty bad job of this however), and I agree with them. -
According to Wikipedia (which is never wrong), PCI-E 2.0 cards are generally compatible with PCI-E 1.x motherboards (which seems to be what you're showing us), so I would tentatively say yes.
Anyone want to correct me? -
-
They're already unequal. APPs are available to heroes at level 41, villains have to complete a story arc in order to unlock them. Of course, this could actually be an argument for not making them any more unequal, but meh.
-
Currently, our difficulty is only displayed when we have a mission. Why not always display it? Yes, there are ways around this that are minor inconveniences at best, but there's no reason not to always know where you stand.

Doesn't the Home key also work?

Quote:I'm not sure what you mean by "harder to kill". Jurassik and Adamastor aren't hard to kill at all. (I have no clue what you mean by "having to zone quite often".) Hell, Lusca is harder to kill than those two. It's the only GM I can think of who should be worth 3 merits instead of 2.Glad someone agrees. Although, heroside, GMs can be harder to kill due to ones in hazard zones, having to zone quite often. Villainside, they are all easy to get to save for Caleb on Thorn Isle.
I COULD suggest Heroside GMs in Crey's, DA, etc. be worth 3 merits. -
WOOHOO, I FINALLY GOT THE BOXING COSTUME SET!!! I CAN DIE HAPPY!!!!!!

Of course, your badge count is the same regardless of which Patron you pick. If there are badges for "staying true", which will get you more badges -- staying true or side-switching? Given that it seems side-switching will grant you access to existing badges that are not available on the other side (example: Electrician from killing CaD Gremlins redside), I suspect the latter will get you the most badges. Maybe you can't get them all, but you can still get the most.
-
Although there's probably no harm in using Sands of Mu while you have it, I wouldn't count on keeping it or the belly shirts (or the costume token).
-
The issue with getting vet rewards you haven't earned yet is a new one, seems to have started within the past 24 hours or so.
-
Just got the 39 month badge here (a couple weeks ago I had to petition in order to get my 36 month, which was bugged), which is also displayed on my account page, but the account page also says I have 3 years 1 month of Vet Time.
I suppose I will petition this since it's definitely not WAI, although I hate to deprive myself of the Boxing costume set. -
I'm happy that SSK removed that mechanic because my account was bugged and none of my characters would ever get that message displayed (it used to work, I don't recall the first time I noticed it was gone).
-
It's just a code that you apply to your account like the kind you get from a Booster, or like Going Rogue will be. Once you apply it, every character on your account (and every one created thereafter) gets a temp power for the costume, which works the same as the ones from the Halloween event (except that it's permanent).
