The Family has no AVs. They have one existing EB in the form of Emil Marcone. Pitbull as a Lieutenant would be somewhat anticlimactic. Pitbull + Emil Marcone would work though.

It used to be "any toon that I could re-level in a non-annoying amount of time can be deleted". Generally this has meant sub-10. But now I'm looking at my level 29 Plant/Thorn Dom and wanting to re-roll him as Plant/Earth, after trying the combo out on another server I'm still not sure what to do. He has anniversary badges 4, 5, 6, and the CoV anniversary badge, and I think was among the first few villain toons I ever made (languishing at level 9 until the Dom buff).

I find Hami Raids more enjoyable than Ship Raids, to be honest.* At least people pretend to follow directions on Hami Raids.
Disclaimer: I've never run an old-style raid, I'm basing this on the raid as it exists on Live. -
Man, I didn't even know they were the same island. Shows how little I pay attention to game lore.

Quote:You're pretty confident about something you've never seen before and lack anything beyond basic information about.Ok well I know there is stuff at these levels but after so many years there needs to be more. Maybe not the traditional TF/SF - maybe a quicker version? More story arcs? Open missions? Some innovations in the lower levels? Everyone has to go through them and I am just tired of doing the same old. I have adopted the PL into the 20's approach. GR will help but when so many people are at these levels, there has to be more. I am quite confident GR will not add enough
Anyway, like I said, I'd love to see other lower level content revised along the lines of the Positron Task Force. Legacy content in this game blows chunks. Yeah yeah, easier to make new content than revise existing content, but new becomes old so fast anyway. They could even advance some of the storylines and shift the old content into Ouroboros. -
Quote:Like I said, consider the damage done. "Abuse" was probably the wrong word (as a verb or a noun), since it's really only making an existing problem worse and isn't actively exploitable.I'm not sure that I see the potential or incentive for abuse. I have characters that have over 20 unused free costume change tokens plus X number of veteran reward costume changes still waiting to be cashed in. Also with what IOs and AE have done to the in game economy I honestly don't even pay attention to the cost at Icon anymore and I am fairly confident that I am not the only one.
I really like McBoo's idea of a "dressing room". Let the player take their character out of the costume editor without paying (yet) and put them into a kind of preview mode. Practice dummies to test powers on, all that good stuff. (Ultra Mode reflective mirrors?) If it looks good, pay for it. If it's not quite right, hop back into the editor for further review. If it's complete garbage and you hate yourself for even making it and can't stand to look at it anymore, revert everything.
I'm not entirely sure, but I believe this idea is similar to something that was implemented in Champions Online -- there's a "Danger Room" sort of area where you can test out new powers before really choosing them. (This is based on my recollection of the admittedly brief time I spent in CO Open Beta.) -
1-10 goes by pretty fast, I don't really see the point for a TF there. Villains could use a 10-15 SF to balance out Posi though, and they definitely need a 30-35 one. As far as blue side goes, they really have more than enough. As of Issue 17, heroes have 4 Task Forces in the level range 10-25, 6 if you count the first Respec and the Cavern of Transcendence.
One point I do agree with: we need new stuff to do at lower levels. I don't agree that Task Forces are the solution, but you can only retrieve relics for Azuria so many times. Insert standard "blueside need low-level content revamp". -
I was gonna ask you to elaborate on something since I'm still not 100% sure I understand what you're saying, but since I'm clearly a troll I guess I'll just leave you to your awesome and totally flawless idea.

Quote:Crazy easy to abuse. After experiencing glitches with the costume creation I came up with an idea. What needs to be added is a time in which one can re-enter the costume editor, maybe up to 30 seconds, being surgeon or whatever, and continue editing the character for no additional cost.
Money spent already would not be re-funded, but they could change things around and already have that credit. Sort of like a exchange of items at a store.
What do you think?
1. Create new costume in AE interface (or when creating a new character, or even in the normal costume interface).
2. Save costume to a file.
3. Change a tiny thing on your current costume.
4. Pop back in really quick, load new costume, save.
5. ?
6. Profit!
At this point you might as well remove the cost of creating new costumes entirely (of course, I can't even remember the last time I paid anything for a costume aside from tiny tweaks, so consider the damage done really).
Quote:I don't have an argument with it - but I'd prefer to see (still) better lighting, etc. in both the editor and the tailor. (The current "wash out/darken the background" doesn't really do it for me.) I've had costumes look much different once I step out the door. -
Well it was founded in February 1979, so that's still "earlier" in the 70s than say, October 1979.

Quote:YMMV but I'm a huge fan of the Warhammer, and nothing says "stay on the ground plz kthx" like being wailed on with a femur. Never mind the Rularuu Hammer...I'd suggest doing it then.
Yes mace is a bit better set that axe, but you don't get a huge battle axe with mace. IMO none of the mace models are particularly intimidating. -

Quote:Try turning off Depth of Field Effects, that's what fixed FSAA for me.FSAA 2x, AO off and max detail level, here's the result:

how do you explain those edges??
Update: the problem lies with AA only, no matter which settings are on CCC, I always get bad results with AA. 2x AA and x8 AA results are the same, x4 AA looks a bit better and still buggy. -
Quote:Are you suggesting that Tyrant's order might be *gasp* hypocritical? What's weird is that the building Mother Mayhem is standing in font of in the screenshot has almost no windows - it's just like a hugh marble covered slab - which seems strange, as the Seers are all about transparency and seeing and viewing everything, but their building seems to be designed to keep whatever's happening on the inside very much out of view

Grats on the cheap buy. I ended up having to grab one of those crafted at level 30 for about 30 million for my DM/DA Brute. Not impressed so far, unfortunately. :\

This is an awful lot of effort for a silly joke between you and your teammates.

Big Bang Theory is known to reference CoH in subtle ways, yes. I don't watch the show but I believe you're correct about one of the characters wearing a CoH shirt.

The Crash Site/War Zone maybe? It's certainly closed off to the general public, and it seems that only heroes working with Vanguard can get in (this isn't strictly true in a gameplay sense, but that's the impression I get).

Quote:Except...And the best part is, we know now just about everything about Going Rogue that we knew then!
*Kinetic Melee/Electric Control
*Demon Summoning and Dual Pistols were announced in June, so technically more than a year ago, and we certainly know a lot more about them now than we knew then as we can actually use them now with the pre-purchase
*Incarnate System
*Details for: Ghouls, Resistance, Syndicate, Calvin Scott, Marauder
*Crossing over is not an immediate process, there are increments to it
*Influence/infamy goes into escrow at some point during your alignment shift
*You can get the ancillary pool of the side you switch to once you switch to it (including respeccing into it) and take it back with you to the other side until you respec again
*And lots of other little things I won't waste your time or mine with. -
