It's just one of these animation size scaling with the size of your toon. Just like larger characters have larger weapons if they use weapon powersets.

Dark/ice might be funny, oppressive gloom + ice patch would be some very nice damage mitigation in melee. Also with the buffed frozen aura ice melee could actually do some damage.

I have this build on my PC, 23,5% +damage, 20'ish +HP and defences ranging from 43 to 47. With aid self, hasten and reinforcements and double assault. I dont really get this really tight build idea :s

I've been around for awhile played pvp and pve with both Tankers and Brutes . I have noticed Brutes are worse than Scrappers in Pvp , i am cuious whether it's time for a revamp of this AT as Villains lost their edge on two villain only Corruptor powers which gave defence now heores have the same set's which give Heroes more defence (argueably tankers have more defence and now with cold domination and forcefield they have much more). So i say again i'm curious whether we should form a petition to get brute revamped i.e brutes to have much more hp than tankers which would compensate for the lower defence so they can absorb more while playing tanking and damage role form an 8 man team every seems to demand from them allready(tankers have better res and therefore soak up much more damage and they have much more hp's than a brute)

Just let me get this straight... You want a great AT buffed? Are you serious brutes should have higher HP than tanks because of lower resists? It would pretty much mean they'd become VERY overpowered in PvE (= devs wont do it). Following your logic scrappers, blasters, controllers and all other ATs should have higher HP than tanks to make up for the lower defence values... -

Which will only happen if you currently have 40% psi defence and the changes actually make it to live. -
I've noticed this "bug" or whatever you want to call it with god modes crashing but toggles not dropping. My guess is that you simply get a tick of end at the exact same moment the crash happens, thus leaving you with ~2.5 end for the toggles to gobble before you actually run out of end.

Well, without actually thinking any further I wouldnt get weave on a claws/fire, 3.75% def (enhanced 5.6%) that you cant really stack with anything (except CJ, 2%) doesnt actually do anything but drain your end.
Personally I would take fiery embrace earlier (claws doesnt have that much burst because it doesnt have BU).. And you're lvl 28, without focus?It is your best single target attack (and maybe best overall attack?) and it's also ranged! Dont have much else to comment on. Yet.

A few things...
Mask presence. I find this power very useful even if I dont have lunge. Allows me to stealth missions and helps me avoid aggro. Wouldnt drop it, to be honest.
Psionic tornado. This power actually does knock-up on most foes (even level or higher). Cant remember if I've ever seen it do KB.
Aura of confusion. I did think about dropping this power for something like 2nd assault, but I really like it. It is my only AoE control and does its job fine.
Oh yeah, and this is the build I'm currently using (just missing the scirocco's and a couple of posi blasts)

I dont really think I need aid self, I'm now getting hit so scarcely I can rely on respites most of the time. Also with confuse/hold most things never even get a chance to have a shot at me. Soul tentacles isn't really needed either, the damage is pitiful and I dont have anything that scatters the spawn. -

Good choice of powersets
I can tell from experience that the combo you have chosen is great for ranged combat, you get 2 cones (very nice stacking -rech) and a good single target attack chain. My ice/mental doesnt have any melee powers at the moment (well, PSW which is PBAoE but that doesnt count) and she can dish out a bucket load of damage! Also survival isn't a problem with drain psyche + hibernoob

I'm going to use this build on my spines/fire. Sure, it will cost a lot but it will also have other uses than farming too. Not sure yet if tough is a must, I think I should do ok with 35% S/L resist and healing flames...

You cant actually perma brawl. That is because the recharge begins after the animation is over. Basically this means you'd need a close to 0.00 second recharge to have it perma..

Well I respec'd a few days back and I'm already thinking of changing the build... With +rech bonuses I wont need mental blast much so going to ditch that for Psionic Tornado and lunge isn't of much use in teams so I'm dropping it for Dark Obliteration. This gives me at least some AoE damage

I'm more than happy to hear these news that invuln is finally being balanced with other sets. Removing the -def from unyielding was long due and is one of the things that specially make me happy. Also, whatever boost the passives are getting (more resistance, mez protection/resistance, debuff resistance) I'm more than happy to remove non-necessary powers such as hasten in favour of the passives. -
Are you going to use SOs, IOs or IO sets? Could try to do a build if you tell me

Mid's is giving me these figures for damage with 3 even lvl SOs slotted:
Ice bolt: 122
Ice blast: 200
Bitter ice blast: 278
While it might not seem that much better than your scrapper powers this is without defiance which really increases DPS (talking about 25-30% damage boost if your attacks are decently slotted) if you keep on attacking.
And then survivability? Low? O_o my ice/MM can solo 6 man mobs (only tried against behemoths though, so far)... -
If I were to construct a Fire/Regen build of similar cost to yours this is probably what I'd do...
I've managed to get some nice +heal, +HP, +acc and +rech in this build. Also hasten is fit in the build earlier. With accolades you're looking at a constant +41% HP buff. A proc in each attack (except FSC :/) should help you with the "kill it with fire" way of defense.
Although this build could suck, I dont knowit's early in the morning so I wont guarantee anything

I dont actually mind in game ads. Some real ads make the environment, if not more realistic, at least more convincing. Besides, what hurt do ads do? Companies pay NCsoft to put the ads in the game and NC just gets more money

Does Inertial Reduction root you when used? I'm thinking of using SS + inertial reduction combo for travel on my controller but last I've seen inertial reduction used (a few issues ago) it rooted the caster which is not something I want. Is IR still like this or am I better off getting SJ?

I'm thinking of respeccing into fortunata at 42 (next level) and I'm wondering what power(s?) I should swap with TT: leadership to get it in the build earlier than 42. Currently the top two choices seem to be psychic wail (a nuke is nice... But I solo quite a lot) and aura of confusion (I solo a lot AND I dont use long cooldown powers often). AoC seems like a better option to skip because I'm not even planning to exemp much, and also in many teams people actually whine about using confuse -
So as you might tell from the title, I chose to go down the fortunata route on my widow. At present she's still a NW (faster soloer, IMO) but I'm going to respec soon.
The build I did is mostly done for heavy single target damage with team buffs. What does it look like in terms of effectiveness and price?
