Have any stalkers gone solo box hunting in Lambda? Has it worked out well? Has anyone seen if the boxes are equally resistant to all types of damage?

So I'm tinkering around with my build for my Stone Melee/Will Power Brute, but am kind of being cautious about investing in him, cause he feels pretty squishy just frankenslotted. I went for 30% def to most things, relying on purple insps when things get tough, but I'm not sure if I wouldn't be better off soft caping to lethal/smash. I mostly looking to make a knock around generalist brute.

Has anyone tested different difficulty's and seen if +4/x8 is really the best to be at?
-
You know, I looked under unique/arachnos, but didn't even glance at Grandville, that's sweet that we have all those. Thanks a ton, you're a Rockstar.
-
I recently stumbled across a mish that uses a map where you start in Lord Recluses throne room, and can then progress into the regular Arachnos corridors. But I can't find the map, it seems like it might be located in a non-intuitive(to me) place. So I'm wondering if someone could help.
-
The mish number tells me what mish is being used, but seeing as I run a ss/elec that isn't all that useful. What would be useful would be knowing what the map name is, or what map category it is found under.
-
Any chance someone could tell me the name of that map, not the mish, the map?

This is true, however ... "You are under no obligation to save me"

Tankers as babysitters are obsolete, that doesnt mean the archtype is obsolete, just a playstyle.
The one area I do feel like they are a bit less useful is AV fights in the newer content (Apex, Tin Mage, ITF, Dr. Khan and Barracuda). I've run all of them with and without tanks and it doesn't seem much smoother with them. But in some of them that's a fairly small sample size. -
And if people dont want to reveal it, thats fine.
I've just not had a lot of luck with the different maps that I've used so far, it seems like the crey-ish one and the warehouse both spawn the target group/object always in the same place. -
What's the name of the map that people use in ambush farms?

Quote:Dark regeneration with the proc, statistically if only used on 10 opponents, will recover you 23.6 end (if the proc uses 10% of the modified end) which will net you 6.17 end every 9 seconds. If you fire off DR 13.3 times in 120 seconds it will recover 82.2461 end. How is that refilling your end bar?
In the Sines/DA build used for comparison, DR will be up every 9 seconds (about three times before running out of end). The comparisons for (non-attack time) were done with the assumption you would fire off DR every time it would come up. Not factoring in a round of REALLY bad luck, on average, each click will net you more endurance with every 3-5 clicks completely filling up your blue bar. -
Quote:That's only true is you assume more then eight targets every time you use it, which isn't very realistic. On average, the proc will make the activation of Dark Regeneration free (assuming you had sufficient endurance to fire it in the first place.)
Quote:On the spines/DA build I posted, DR has a recharge of 9 seconds, which gives you three chances to roll the dice and hope the proc hits enough targets to fill your end bar.
Quote:This is by no means a guarantee, but at 20% per target, the very scenarios that lend to the AoE attack chain are ideal for firing off Dark Regeneration for endurance gain.
Quote:Conclusion: There is no significant advantage to damage output to Spines/Elec over Spines/Dark Armor. It is undoubtedly easier to manage endurance with Electric Armor and this will likely steer most players away from Cardiac Alpha slots (which is debatable.) Since Dark Armor requires endurance management, many players will initially gravitate towards the Cardiac Alpha slot (myself included.) That doesn't mean Dark Armor is required to utilize the Cardiac Alpha slot. -

Could you please post a build for comparison?

The build posted regains 34 end in 30 seconds, and in ideal conditions will profit 10 end from using dark regen twice in that 30 seconds. If in those 30 seconds you hit three groups with your 3 AOE's, you'll use 71end, minus the 44 end you are gaining in that time gives you 27(30 if you use build up once). If we throw in two lunge's to make the math easy, that's 34 end used in 30seconds, so attacking lightly, you can easily bottom out your end bar in a minute and a half. Now soul transfer recharges faster then that, so I guess you can use to to refill your end bar, but otherwise I'm not seeing the sustainability of dark.

Code:Similar Defense, with more end sustainability.

For the soft capped NW's, do you find that vengence is worthwhile?
-
Cool, that's what it looked like, but I wasn't sure if I was reading it right.
Silly question, but how do you know the choke part of the pet wont accept accuracy?
