And thank you for giving me back the "orange" star!
He was a challenge the two times I designed him as well, not sure why either.

Sure (it's a good sign you noticed that in one of your own pieces) I can unskew-ify him.
Np, remember to keep it shiny and polished.

LOL! That one is a Caemgen Special!
Another way to look at that is perhaps our good Comrade is referring to the scene depicted
as being a classic example of the villainess VexXxa and not suggesting it looks like
a piece designed in the classic style of the artist who shares her name.
  2. Oops yeah sorry bout that (explains why I haven't gotten any PM's in the last few days lol) it filled up on me again.
I'll have to go through at some point and get rid of a few hundred old ones but for now I cleared out 50 or so, should be ok to send stuff now.

Anyone else who was trying to PM me in the last day or two resend please.

Also that may be the first time I've seen Caemgen look less than happy to be tackled by a female.

The trio coming along nicely LG, I would suggest moving the ground back a bit (i.e take a few steps back and retake the screenshot) as it looks like the central character is the only one who will make the jump as it is now. Also are his gloves supposed to be metal? Otherwise I don't see where the sparkle/reflected light on his finger could be coming from... unless it's a power effect or an aura?

Out of curiosity whose art did you paint over to get your new sig?
  5. Congratulations on the job Cami. I look forward to what you come up with for this anti-explosion art.
*hides behind a splatter shield just in case*
  6. Probably before my time on the boards but welcome back Woot always good to see returning artists/players.

    Kainthebest art

Okay Whirl just became my favorite of the thread... until three hours later when you posted Soul.
Jeez I take a few days off and it's a fricken art avalanche around here.

Already got you on watch Kain and if you want to do an art trade down the road let me know.

Yeah but we knew that going in.
I just put up with it cuz you got such great taste in art.
  8. #2 is my favorite of the bunch. Cool work Prime.
  9. Woah art avalanche.
Sorry for the slow response I've only been online sparingly
the last few weeks but I think you know which is my favorite. Love the additions VexXxa.

P.S. I would've given the SG back to you (even though the game clearly recognized my sheer awesomeness
and awarded it to me ) either way but, ya know, this way came with free VexArtz.
  10. Cool that came out real nice Drain Bamage (I once considered making a Mace Tank called Train Brauma lol).
I was going to guess one of Caemgen's Trio.
  11. Lol. Well you see Gardvord's can't really afford Icon so I guess they have
to live with the stuff they swipe off heroes when no ones looking.

Oh and welcome to the art section of the forums Pantsy.

    The Khellection

Well you do look a little wooly.

If you want to be notified go to...
User CP > Edit Options > under "Default Thread Subscription Mode"
you can change the setting from "No Email" to whatever degree of notification you want.

You might also/rather put a check in the tick box for "Show New PM Notification Pop-up"
so if/when you do log in you will get notice of any new PM's.
    Cheers

You say that like it's a bad thing.
Nice work, I'm liking the Des one. The UI could use a little bit cleaner selection perimeter though.
  14. Clearly it's all a Nemesis plot to take over the toy market.
  15. Good so far TP. A few thoughts.

-text would be much easier to read if it were filled in rather than an outline
-page 16 "conceived" sp. and I would drop the "of"
-lighting changes between pages (like between 15 and 16) the faded ones are harder to read

    *awaits issue 2*
  16. Image link is broken.
    Error as follows...

The image “http://www.mgc-projects.info/project...HUD.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.
  17. Sometimes it's fun to just quicksketch without caring about line precision.
Love the Ferreter piece and the Nezumi sketch Cami.

  18. I've held many smaller contests. The simple ones (i.e. pick a number between 1-100) always draw big
and the complex ones I've tried get a tiny fraction of the number of participants.

I have to be honest, between the annoying bickering and the (in my opinion) ever changing judging/rules I haven't even looked at the FArt competition in months. I appreciate you taking the mantle up this year but it was just too much for me to deal with......

Hey there Prime, who's this Winnie you speak of?

Yeah I've gotten lots of good feedback over the last two years so I've been doing my best to return
the favor with critique's, paint-overs and collabs with other artists whenever I can.

Unfortunately the timing is bad as I'm severely cutting back on my typing/computer time to give my arms some time
to heal (was putting in too many hours a day in front of the pc and started to get twinges in my shoulders).

There are however several examples in my thread where I worked over the top of another artists colors to punch up the
contrast and shading to help make things more 3-D looking. Some of them are even animated (like this and this)
so you can read what I changed/added and then watch the loop to see it happen. I know the thread
is long but start from the last page and work backwards and hopefully that will help.

Best tip I could give you is always keep in mind where your light source is
(even draw little arrows on a separate layer that you can turn on/off) when coloring.

Thanks Henri, glad I could help.

    Kainthebest art

Cool stuff Kain (I really like Azunai's expression) and welcome to the Artz forums.

By the way we are not allowed to mention prices for artwork here directly.
To avoid getting your thread modded you really should edit your above post so it reads...

P.S. Has Caemgen stumbled across this yet? lol
  24. Lol nice one, that map is great for mangling the opposition.
Here is one of the funniest examples I've seen of wall splattering...

To heighten the absurdity she doesn't even seem too upset
about her ummm... I'm gonna go with "position" at the moment.
She is just staring back at you with that look on her face... waiting for tp.

P.S. Welcome to the artz-ified section
    of the forums fellow Christopher.
