    Sleep resist

The only place that has sleep resistance aside from health off the top of ym head are the various PvP IO sets.

getting higher than health provides will not be cheap.
  2. My thoughts would be.

Solo versus a team of 5, giving the 'killer' 5 targets. Run 30mins. Then swap over to the other player.
  3. http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Hamido..._Types_Exploit

    Yes it would work.

Castle himself has said that it will be changed, the question is more a matter of when.
  4. Brute - Katana (would have been claws but thats I16)
Stalker - Comic devices (Including a cardboard box for hide)
    Corruptor - Poison
Dominator - Elec Control (well yeah is not true prliferation but most of the necessary powers are in the game)
Mastermind - Kinetics (yeah right like this will happen)

    Scrapper - Stone Melee
Defender - Thermal Rad (would have been AR and Traps but again I16)
    Controller - No preference
Blaster - Gadgets ( derived from traps, but with less debuff. and yes I know /devices is called /gadgets internnal so this would have to be /devices interannly and cause various peoples heads to assplode)
    Tank - BroadSword

Don't freakout when people start asking you to remove your pants. The locals here are crazy!

    [/ QUOTE ]

Make sure to get Dinner a Movie out of them though...

    /signed on the crazy.

(Oh and waves to the Fellow Brit. I may be in exile in the Southern US but am originally a Geordie. Lived for 4 years in Dundee)
  6. I hugely prefer claws. Im gritting my teeth on my latest DB scrapper trying to get them to SOs (3 previous attempts have been deleted), so I can give the combos a fair go.

It just hasn't done it for me in the past.
  7. Great news

For those not recieving E-mails Follow the Ochos post here particiluarly step 5.

At some point it got set for me opting out of E-mails, I dont recall doing so, but making sure that box was checked sort my issue out.
  8. Here is where people differ. Im so stoked for traps and have been wanting it since proliferation first came about. I don't really care about thermal however.

I think LOLmace carries a -4 threat level adjustment, correct ?

Are you mocking the powers of the banhammer?

    [/ QUOTE ]

    *Denies the Mace*
  10. Pay particular attention to
    [ QUOTE ]
The game doesn't scale down bonuses that are small to begin with. Any individual benefits of 20% or less are unaffected by Exemplaring down as far as level 21. Enhancement benefits of 10% or less are unaffected by Exemplaring to levels 11-20. Benefits of 5% or less are never reduced by Exemplaring

    [/ QUOTE ]

Defence is schedule B and can really do some nice exemplar builds by slotting a lot of Dual aspect IOs. Any dual aspect /def of def/ will be at full strength down to level 21.

35-39 will give you a slightly better chance of getting it.

I roll in 30-34 so I can get a slim chance at some of the stuff that stops and starts at 30. I'm usually not hoping for anything in particular when I do that.

    [/ QUOTE ]

35-39 will give him zero chance of getting a recipe that caps at 30. Im assuming you mean 25-29
  12. The slider only affects the level of a chosen recipe, it does not affect the level of a random roll.
  13. Counting actively tracked only

    Achetype Number Average level

    Solder 1 50
    Widow 1 10
    Stalker 1 50
    Brute 3 25
    Corruptor 3 18
    Domiantor 3 15
    Mastermind 5 20

    PB 1 32
    Tank 4 41
    Blaster 7 27
    Controller 8 24
    Defender 9 33
    Scrapper 10 21

    Most rolled AT:
Scrapper then defender, however defender has more 50s (4) than the scrappers (2)
  14. [ QUOTE ]
any specific order i should take those in? or just at my own discrection?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Going from Memory on my last respec:

    1 Strike
    1 Fash Healing
    2 Slash
    4 Reconstruction
    6 Air Superiority (Travel #1)
    8 Follow-up
    10 Dull Pain
    12 Quick Recovery
    14 Fly
    16 Integration
    18 Focus
    20 Swift
    22 Health
    24 Stamina
    26 Eviscerate
    28 IH
    30 Spin
    32 Shockwave
    35 assault
    38 Mog
    41 Tactics

Then into the Epics or fighting pool as preference dictates.

That order can be tweaked around, but it close to how I would build one from scratch.
  15. Claws

Strike or swipe + slash (1 acc 3 dam then extra slots as desired)
Followup (1-2 acc 1-2 recharge 0-1 endrec some damage)
    Focus 1 acc 3 dam 1-2 recharge 0-1 endrec

Thats your primary single targets covered

Eviscerate, spin and shockwave - take em all and 5-6 slot, this covers your AOE

    (yes thats 7 claws attacks)

    Regen
Resiliance is skippable, as is revive
    Take everything else

    Recon/Dull Pain 3heal/3recharge
    FH 1-3 heals
    QR 3 Endmod
    Integration 0-1 endrec 3 heal
    IH 1-3 recharge
    Mog 1-3 recharge

14 poers from rimary/secondary, giving lots of room for pool Powers. I like leadership (assault and tactics) and have fitness which more than covers the end cost.
  16. I did a reformat of my backup laptop this week.
Actually used my AE install discs, from that install to completely uptodate was under 30 mins.
  17. All three of mine listed can be solo'ed though the rule of three finale is the toughest, in that it replicates the final mission of the Posi TF, and the rather nasty EB that occurs there.

The other two are very solo friendly.

    Memory Issue

I started playing this game with 512 Mb, and shudder to think about my zone times back then.
  20. Patch that brought the current spawn rules: 2008-03-05

Patch that brought the interim 'never spawn below the minimum' was 2008-02-12 and was obviously chnaged by the above.
  21. They do indeed work when you exemp to any level.
  22. [ QUOTE ]
    [ QUOTE ]
They drop to match however many players are left on the TF, whether they are logged on or not. Example: 8 players start a Positron TF. 6 quit, leaving 2. New spawns will be sized for 2 players.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Hmm, that is not my understanding of it, I thought that is how it used to work, but they changed it to not go below the minimum requirements of the TF some time ago (about I10 or 11). Hmmm, I wonder how easy it is to verify this.

    [/ QUOTE ]

The abiove description is exactly right. The 'not drop below minimum' was in place for a short while (IIRC 4 weeks) as a quick fix to certain exploitative behaviour whilst the longer term fix was coded.
  23. [ QUOTE ]

Having one of the core ATs of the game be so inherently weak at solo play seems... wrong to me. I'm not suggesting they be buffed into solo gods - hell no. They are a support AT. But so are Corruptors, Controllers, and Tankers - and they all have an easier time soloing.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Most defender primaries solo pretty well if they build for it, even FF which does so safely, with decent if not perfect mez protection, but with no way to boost their own damage output.

If only the Devs have given folks the opportunity to have dual builds, one for teaming and one for soloing.
