  1. My Claws/regen does pretty well, but he is heavily IOed out

    Yes, please do.
That is semantics to the extreme. At 90 degree and 7 feet range its trivial to catch 2-3 folks in eviscerate, and I usually cap it when soloing (5 targets) if use it sensibly.

Shockwave is 30 feet 90 degree cone with a cap of 10 (the same as spin)
Spin incidentally has an area of effect of ~201 sq feet
Shockwave is about 706 sq feet
  3. Coversely to Sam, I am a fan of the flat blade.

In addition I find claws an overall 'better' powerset than MA for my own playstyle (my wife is the opposite)

Claws/SR is a very good combination, a little slow starting but once you get to SOs (which is a typical issue with defence sets) it really gets going.

MA/SR is probably a little faster out of the blocks with the early attacks, but doesn't get its one AOE until fairly late on.

CO just got quivers, and sidearms.

I'm hoping that we see them here very soon.

Yep. Enter the regular 'sewers' and then go through the door to you immediate right to get to the abandoned sewers.
  6. Level 15 ? Perfect for the single mission 'Rule of Three - Finale' I have. #1984

Its a revisit of how I think the final mission of the Posi TF should be.

There is an EB, and it is the one from the TF, with all the caveats that brings.
  7. Happier news for the Scots, great rugby result against Australia today.

Wales win big, Ireland win big, England lose but thankfully not as badly as I expected them to.

One more round of Autumn internationals next week.

Wouldn't that mean you always have to slot everything at a low level or e.g. not hit anything anymore because your level 50 ACC IOs stop working? I so far haven't experienced that and all my Enhancements are IOs.
set bonuses from IOs more than 3 levels above your exemplared level cease to work.

In this case the 7.5% recharge works like a set bonus, so it goes away

  11. 'Carry on Impatiently' is my motto.

Would have been a great film, but you see I started a cast list and I wanted it done NAO, so the director took off and now I have nothing but a one pageo outline for 'Carry on Poor' and it all the falut of the Devs as they hate villains and refuse to implement pirce caps.
  12. Rad defender or corruptor would be my choice.

Really hard to beat the RI+Ennervating field in usefulness

I was there just last night, running LT. Col. Flynn's missions.

The real question sis how many people have him unlocked as a contact ?

Two fallacies in one statement. For example pet sets, the supply on those equal is, but look at the demand. One cannot simply blame one side of supply/demand without at least accounting for the other.

The 2nd fallacy is that heros are somehow MORE locked out of arcane salvage that villains.
This is simply not true. An individual may choose to avoid arcane foes, but as a collective both sides have enough options to fight aracane droppers prtty much as often as they choose. In fact in certain level ranges blueside has a vertiable gold mine of arcane drops available, DA (20-30) and Croatoa. (25-35)

Also, I never said that "all" items of demand will be met. The items that ARE met, and flood the market, ARE seen heroside. Take IO salvage, for example. Arcane was considered ultra rare since many mobs accidentally dropping the wrong salvage. Once the devs fixed the mobs, and added other ways to get arcane salvage (converting base salvage, Merits, MA Tickets, etc.) the prices dropped BIG TIME.
Interestingly blueside the low level arcanes are significantly higher in median price than the same items redside.

My example of the Winter's Gift recipe is the perfect example of my idea of why villain markets and hero markets won't be merged until they even out. Some people will make MAJOR profits, while others will be forced to sell a lung and kidney to afford the rare items. Then, once the rare items are easily available to all, the value goes down and can cause a flooding of a once rare item to become one of the least valuable.
Take perfect and replace with heavily flawed.

The only way to even out the markets is to merge them. It is literally impossible given the different distributions of demand and the simialrity of supply that the two markets will align in any other way.

Villain - hero disparity at any given level is tiny according to the disparity of a level 50 hero and a level 12 using the same market. Why do 50s use the same market as 12s then ? Why are those 12s not shut out ?

Every single transaction on the market is both a purchase and a sale. Your arguments are heavily focusing on just the purchase side of the equation.
  15. One problem is that for certain recipes 'higher level' does not mean better.

Lower level global special IOs are the most desired, and in every way 'better' than the higher level ones.
  16. You get one per mission from the LGTF.

The answer is ship raids, about 3-4 of them should get you the full outfit.

One per hero in the Hive, which IIRC capped at about 120.

It was a sight to behold for sure.
  18. The other option is simply playing your 50s in normal content.

One of the reasons I have a decent bankroll is that Catwhoorg the character is at about 2000 hours played.

A level 50 through drops and raw inf per defeat vastly outweigh the earnings of other characters.
  19. Rats beaten... gg NA folks
  20. *nukes the forest from orbit*

    I hear there be snipers
  21. They have strong -def in their attacks. Unless you have good defence debuff resistance (i'm not sure how good EA is in that dept), any defence based character gets eaten up.
  22. Take the warning as what it is, a warning that the GMs found your use of language inappropriate, and maybe modify your useage in future.

Incidentally, naming GMs publicly in regards their communications with you violates the forum rules (specifically #4)
