There is no sensisble way to restrict purple recipes to tickets dropped for high level content.
Therefore this idea is basically a non-starter, as no way of fighting low level mobs should have a way of created purple drops. -

NCsoft reserves the right to ban or remove any mission at any time for any reason.

Straight from the I14 release notes, that is the bottom line here. No appeals, no reasons need to be given to the player, any time for any reason
Beyond that, there was the long list of more specific reasons as well. -
My suggestion Markus, would be to read some of the background interviews on the various game sites.
Joe Morrissey (Hero-1) actually went into some details on how missions get flagged, how the GMs were involved in getting the reporting system set-up right from the get go.
I read one yesterday that was very good and clear on how this porcess worked. Unfortunately, I'm at a different location so can't pull it from my browser history to link for you. -
This Winter just passed, they offered two specials
6 months +1 free (~11.14 /month)
12 months +2 free (~10.24/month)
This to me was a good compromise marketing between a vet only sort of set-up and the strictly monthly.
For me, I was on the 12 month anyway, so I just got an extra 2 months free out of 14. I mean its not like I was going anywhere soon. -

Didnt I tell ya this would happen? hehe
Here it goes, round and round, where it stops...it wont till it gets locked like 95% of the other threads that have to do with farming.
I warned ya
[/ QUOTE ]Yeah but I have some time to kill, I will drop it after a few pages.
Fundamentally not a single person has ever given me a good reason why it is OK for a few players to dictate to other players how they should and should not play.

Phrase that as the Devs and the GMs.
They are the ones who wrote the release notes, and they are the ones pulling arcs. -
The fact that it got pulled should be an indication to you that the GMs thought it was outside of what is acceptable.
-
This couldn't have been added to any of the other dozen or so farming threads why ?
-
Under:
unique -> Arachnos (base and warehouse on fire)
Unique -> office Hellions is the smokey office with some fires -
Notably the 250 and 500 star badges are awarding simultaneously. Not that Im close to either...

Heya Nova,
as Czar said, Fusion Force is still very much around, as are Riders.
PvP, others have covered better than I could say. -
Scrapperwise the 2nd boss was fine if a little on the easy side.
I took my Dom in (yeah I know its a heroic type arc) and she had a good, challenging, but not too touch fight.
Both use knockback as a large part of their mitigation, and he does get knockback back. EB was pitched just right.
Loved the custom group, anyone who reads this I recommend running this arc. It was a whole bunch of fun for me. -
The arc in question the one listed in your sig ?
If not then whats the ID and I'll run it this weekend and see what I think of the bosses. -
Drop rates for recipes
32/41 = common
8/41 = uncommon
1/41= rare
Chance for drop
2.6667% Minion
5.333% LT
8% Boss
100% AV*
*Some AVs are marked to drop only like bosses due to farming. the obvious example being Baracuda redside.
For comparision under the old XP scale, a level 50 minion provided 1297 inf, under the revised scale it is
2006. All obvious base/soloing values.
(so up 2 posts I made an error comparing the drop rate to the old inf/minion value) -
The 'average' income from vendoring recipes at level 50 is about 1650 /minion
(my current spreadsheet is lacking the exact weighting of the common drops I learnt a few weeks ago)
This is comparable to the inf earned by defeating an even con minion out of SG mode. In SG mode obviously the difference is even greater.
<edit>
I threw in the weighting for level 50s (not done the whole range yet). That ups the average to 2055 inf/minion. (EndRec, Acc, Dam, Recharge being the heaviest weighted in drop chance)
<edit2>
Fixed the comments versu the minion inf, as I was looking at the old (presmoothing) data table at the time.

Boss -> LT on Heroic is indeed normal in MA and the wider game
Elite Boss -> Boss on Heroic is a special new 'MA only' thing right now.
AV -> EB depends upon team size and slider setting. The only way to force an AV spawn solo is on Challange setting 5 (Invincible/whatever it is redside).
Now into the realm of what makes a good boss challange is another matter.
At the end of the day I chose to my my arc boss (in "A Nation goes Rogue" #2369) be of Boss rank. He is an nasty offensive powerhouse even as an Lt. A team of course blinks past a typical bosses HP.
As an EB when testing him, he could hammer through any but the best soloists pretty fast.
I went for do-able solo for anyone, and less of a challange for a team, becasue at the end of the day, I want people to finish the arc and arrest him.
Conversly in my other arc out there right now ("Rule of Three - Finale" #1984), which specifically is a revisioning of just the final mission of the Posi TF I took stock EB and boss level opponents, over new custom characters. Being 'stock' they are somewhat better balanced against most classes than a typical custom boss/EB is right now.
After all it is the "final mission of a Task Force" and so at least a duo is expected.
One other approach I have come accross in several arcs from otehrs I have run is to have a non-required helper. Get a Custom boss/Lt on yoru side, and then facing an EB/boss is less of an issue, even for the damage poor characters. Making in non-required means they can be skipped for the challange, but the help is there if you wish it to be. -
Im thinking the end of it in Australia, which is normally early April IIRC.

Ex,
Godspeed on whatever endeavour your life takes you next. You have been a wonder community coordinator in your time here. You have stuck up for the PvP community like no one else has in the role, not always sucessfully, but that is the way it goes.
You have been firm and fair in board moderation, and been amazingly active in the community 'in-game'. I have been to several events where you have participated, but the one that really sticks in my mind is the Macron (Veil One) memorial. I don't think anyone who was there will ever quite forget it. -
Subjective Feedback:
Im a happy camper. I understand the need to keep inventory moving, but taking a paying customers stuff was always a little off.
Objective Feedback:
A clarification of the exact mechanism for someone who unsubs for whatever reason would be useful. The assumption is that at the first server maintenance when they are both a) unsubscribed and b) post 60 days on that character, the stuff gets wiped. -
You can create this situation for yourself in the mission architect.
Have rescues front loaded in the mission, set to the 'sinlge' Walk up and pick up your team mates.
They do however reduce your XP inf etc. -
633 for Cat now, most of the low hanging Architect badges gained, still some easy ones I can get though.
(Looking at YOU Virtual Victim) -
The market is in such a state of flux that it really is hard to say what is 'the best' right now.
People are making inf selling rolls from all three pools, that much is certain.
