I'd give you a badge but you have them all.

I'm not married to the early bird. I just did that because so often people were running Mo's at times which were very late to me. I might be ok at the start, but being knackered at the end isn't going to help a Mo run.

As for the Cathedral of Pain. I would like the badge, however, I'm pretty concerned having read the beta forums regarding the coordination required. I cannot lead that because all of my SG/VGs are solo groups. I can join people in to the groups and stick the porter in, no problem (both bases have the room/power). However, ideally, I'd just join someone elses raid.

Blood, I'd go for that. I don't go into PvP zones so I haven't done the Warburg missile thing. Always fun to stab a vindicator.

Once again I want to thank everyone who has shown interest in and participated in these Master runs. I really didn't think there would be this much interested. Cheers, guys.

Not sure if it is either of these things but:

1) You can only put so many things on one card before NCSoft won't accept it any longer

So when I activated my second account, I think I got two boosters on before it wouldn't take any more for a few days. I was not over the NCSoft Master Account purchase limit, it was the number of transactions.

2) I had one credit card refuse to pay NCSoft. I had plenty of credit but because NCSoft took $1 then tried to take the remaining amount, the card issuer thought it was fraud and stopped it.

Now I got that transaction through on another card, but that issuer also wrote to me asking if it was a real transaction. (But at least they didn't bounce it.)

If your issue is the money was taken and not applied, then yes keep bugging NCSoft but if it's either of the issues above you need to use another payment method or wait a few days (issue one) or poke your card company and maybe find another provider (issue two).*

Re-reading that it looks like it might be your NC Master Account. For that, yes you need to call them.

I managed to buy the most recent booster on two accounts from the UK, so I don't think they've stopped purchases from outside the USA. That would be a pretty dumb move, really. I know some South American countries have issues though.

I have two major issues with the way bases have been handled in GR.

Firstly, I run (several) solo SGs. Losing the amount of prestige from level 1 to 20 is very disappointing.

I see how tricky it would be to choose VG or SG while 'neutral' but perhaps once a couple of missions had been completed? Even picking a side at level five, anything! There has to be a better way to do this than lose that amount of prestige.

Secondly, not being able to use team mates bases when Vig/Rogue and on the other side (especially Rogues in Paragon) is incredibly badly designed.

Whether the Devs think all side swapping will be Hero to Villain, I don't know (where the lack of addiitonal travel won't be such an issue) but Villain to Hero is an utter pain the way it stands.

People without SGs have eagerly taken up my offers to join mine just for a TF (no SG mode required) because they wanted access to the porters.

What better way to incite someone to turn full hero or villain but with the lure of a shiney base. But to do that, they need to be able to see it, by getting into it and a good opportunity is a Task Force/team team leader enabling team mates of any faction into the base.

You have a team mate, why on earth wouldn't you let them into the base? They can't DO anything to it.

Then we move on to the lack of additional base items. There's some lovely little bits in Praetoria; those shrubs for example. One of the missions had a 70's wooden textured wall that'd I'd like.

I'd really like these to change - especially for travel.

Just an update and a major "thank you!!" to all who came. We tried a couple of runs with the top five and then Prof & Viv agreed to join us.

*Very smooth, very quick. We were really unlucky not to get it. Ok The three restarts before viv and prof turned up were just practice runs. And BB disconnecting twice was just our way of giving the mobs a chance; especially in the last two missions. The ambushes well, such a treat they were. I was pleased I didn't go down until Viv DC'd. And well it was looking too easy so Kin having to go to work half way through Reichy just made it a bit more interesting. And anne disconnecting exiting the final mission because obviously we didn't think she deserved merits after staying from the start.

But apart from that. Very smooth. (You can stop holding your nose now.)

I cannot say how stubborn the members of that run were. Everyone one of you deserved a lot more than the merits (anne did get hers). Not fast, not got the badge but for sheer "Reichs is going down if it takes all week"; absolutely awesome. No one suggested quitting. Amazing.*

Unfortunately I can't share the best part of the TF. Let's just say I think there was some bizarre convo in the last mission.

I don't quite understand why Tanks are doing more damage than Brutes when Brutes are more Scrapper-like. I would have thought damage > least damge being Scrapper > Brute > Tank. *shrug* (I'm not a min-maxer really so I'm not that fussed just a tad puzzled.)

Have to agree with it not being fun teaming with a Shield Charger. Last time I did, I couldn't even get my blaster nuke off. SC'd every spawn. Nuke activation times too long.*

I'll still have fun with my little shield tank and brute I'm levelling though.

Well, thanks to me being stupid and asking someone who knew the TF better to lead that run and team fell apart.

So next time I don't care how little I know the TF, I am leading it. I'll ask for input but no, we aren't all going to traipse to the BM for large insps which aren't needed.

I am so sorry to the people who stood around waiting for that to start while someone cheerfully dismantled the team.*

I was being lazy. As things had gone so well I stopped bothering using Dull Pain in the second mission. So when I took that hit, I had 2.3k HP not 3.2k.

Awesome run though and not a bad time 1hr 29min considering we had a 5-10min break.

On a truly ridiculous number of badges!

Turning up for xp and finding someone wants to speed/stealth *everything*. I don't find sitting by the door particularly entertaining and I don't want 'earn' merits that way. If you're going to stealth everything at least say on invite.

On the flip side of that; if you're invited to a non-stealth TF, how about you DON'T stealth! (I had an ITF fall apart due to a couple of people "I didn't see" the "non-speed" part of the ITF I set up; funny how the others did and the message was the same in channel and the confirming tell was identical.)

Solo artistists; particularly on Master runs. If you want to clear three mobs solo and without team support, then go solo, set your diff to x8 and leave me be to team with people who want to work as a team.

People who think this game has a "heal set". "Debuff" has the same number of letters and syllables as "healer" so I don't know why it's such a difficult concept for them. Go play another game (are we still allowed to acknowledge there ARE other games?), this game has more nuances than "meat shield", "healer" and "damage".

Yesterday was a particularly bad day for witnessing stupidity.*
