Yeah that's basically what i meant anyway All i want to do is move my room to his base etc.
  9. Hi guys this is my first time making a build so bare with me.

I have like no defence whatsoever i was trying to get mainly recharge in there and regeneration but this is the abomination i have come up with lol.

I really don't know what i should be aiming for tbh so any help would be cool

  10. no. I would prefer to have my rooms in his base.

who knows it might give the people who don't farm or participate in TF's a chance at making more money. I do both lol.
  11. Hi just an idea but since many SG's are getting less and less active i was thinking of something to merge them. I mean the only thing stopping me merging with my mate's SG is my Base.

I mean i have spent so much time on making my rooms. Hours and hours. I thought it would be cool if you could "publish" rooms onto the system. These could then be purchased by other SG's if they want to merge or just like the room and want it for their own base.

The creator of the room would then gain either a lot of prestige for his SG or Inf. I don't know but i think it would be sweet.

    Just an idea, lol.

    Peace x

  13. Apollo Kids was created by me @Will sometime around december last year.

We have great members who are active and friendly. We are looking for more recruits too!

Here is a link to a slide-show of our base so far.

If you want to join a great SG with an evolving base let me know. Any of our members can send invites if you see one give us a shout!

  14. I use a EM/SD scrapper primarily for farming. It takes lots of money to get it good though unlike the fire/kin troller. It lacks single-target damage but you don't need it when you run farms solo.

If you are planning on making a farm toon i would suggest a fire/kin troller if you don't have a lot of inf. But Fire/SD seems a good allrounder.

    New Power Set

Hey guys i have been thinking of a new offensive set for Controllers. It has a few buff elements added into it as well.

Good manners are so rare nowadays they should have their own place in our game.

I bring you the new power set... Good Manners!

    T1 Power

    - Friendly Greeting

You engage the target with a friendly greeting. You reduce the target's accuracy in a hope it may lose interest and move along.

    Recharge: Fast

    T2 Power

    - Polite Request

You engage the target with a polite request. The target will take into consideration the points raised in said request and if the target does not leave the area its recharge rate and damage potential will be severely reduced. The target will also suffer moderate damage.

    Damage: Moderate Recharge: Moderate

    T3 Power

    - Formal Argument

You engage the target with a formal argument, raising several valid points about it's reason for behaving badly. The target is left helpless, choking on his words. The target will take some mental damage from the argument, but the damage is very trivial.

    Damage: Minor(DoT), Recharge: Moderate

    T4 Power

    - Formal Debate

Immobilizes a group of foes with a spectacular series of well structured arguments, dealing mental damage over time. More resilient foes may require multiple attempts to Immobilize. Formal Debate is slower and less damaging than Formal Argument, but can snare multiple targets.

    Damage: Minor(DoT), Recharge: Moderate

    T5 Power

    - Persuasion

You can persuade the enemy, forcing that foe to believe their friends are not who they appear to be. If successful, the enemy will ignore you and attack their own allies. You will not receive any Experience Points for foes defeated by a persuaded enemy.

    Recharge: Slow

    T6 Power

    - Formal Flattery

You flatter the target, giving it many compliments about its intellect and looks. This burst of confidence immensely enhances a single ally's chance to hit, Damage, and Defense to all attacks.

    Recharge: Long

    T7 Power

    - Friendly Speech

All allies within 15ft have been cleared of negative effects, and you grant them a temporary resistance to Disorient, Hold, Sleep, Fear, Confuse and Immobilize effects. Their recovery and regeneration rates have also been improved for the duration.

    Recharge: Long

    T8 Power

    - Ambitious Clapping

You begin to clap your hands together quickly to release a full applause. The ambitious clapping can continuously knock down most nearby foes and give any allies within 20ft a bonus to accuracy.

Ambitious Clapping deals no damage. Recharge: Slow

    T9 Power:

    - Polite Possy

You call forth 3 extremely polite and well mannered beings in a targeted location. They will begin to engage in riveting conversations with any hostile targets in the area. They possess many abilities of the Hero but are only available for a limited duration of time.

    Rechagre: Very Long

Now if you do want to make a Elec/SD make it a scrapper. He will do more damage because SD and LR for brutes have the same damage cap as a Scrapper. So with Fruy and AAO, build up does no good for a Brute, but will help out the Scrapper alot.
Awesome! Thanks for that, just the person i wanted to hear from haha

Do you think you could outfarm an elec.SD scrapper on your SS.SD brute? with similar IO's i mean.

Either way all my villains will be going to heroes when GR is out lol. But would the damage from full fury + lightning rod with a base time of 1:30 recharge be more damaging overall than full fury + rage + foot stomp on a base recharge of 20 seconds?

Well its been a while since i have farmed, i know AE has been nerfed a fair bit, is it worth staying there or going back the the old farm missions?

    New Farm Toon

Hi guys, what with all the new power mingles etc. i am interested in a new farming toon.

    Currently i have:

    Fire.Kin Controller

    Spines.Dark Scrapper

    SS.WP Brute

I don't farm on my spines.dark much as i don't like the end drain, the fire.kin is good always has been and the brute is also enjoyable.

My mate has an elecmelee.SD scrapper and says it is awesome for farming. He is pretty good at it, but i want to know what the best is.

Honestly i think a brute can put up more damage than a scrapper with rage and footstomp especially with shield defence.

    What should it be?

ElecMelee.SD Scrapper or a SS.SD brute? or perhaps an ElecMelee.SD brute?

    Thanks for any info!
  21. Well i edited my previous post to save me adding another reply but i dont know if anyone will see this now its way down at the bottom. Sorry for the bump lol.

And yes, if you've got a lot of regeneration or other damage recovery (this means self heals), don't bother with straight regen powers or regen set bonuses.

Well you learn something new everyday! And thanks ok i get you.

Okay i have a quick question, just editing from my last post to save a space and what not.

Right as far as travel powers go, i have picked recall friend and teleport. Now atm i am still level 20 and after doing the cape mish and teleporting around to the various contacts, it is very end heavy. My character is supposed to be a sort of space/galactic theme. Now teleport seemed to fit this theme well. Unforutnately it isn't very practical for scrappers from what i can tell. I mean i could pick super speed or sj to get by, like every other scrapper around or i could remain with TP and stay slightly more original.

However, with SS or SJ if you are entering combat there is no delay you can run in and attack with no set backs (probably why they are the most prefered choice)... but with teleport, you hover above the ground for a second and cant really move for the duration. (very annoying if the NPC just runs away and gets out of range).

I suppose i could use TP for geting around outside of missions, and then switch to ninja run inside but whenever i am on the way to a mission in the higher levels i usually have an Oro portal to teleport me or base ones for that matter.

So i am asking on your opinon whether i shoould stay more original and go with TP on my scrapper, or just be a sheep and follow the heard. Although staying with my theme would be nice, i don't want it to become an irritant of my gameplay.

Do you have any experiences playing as a scrapper with Teleport? Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

    P.S.
I will probably take hasten from the super speed power pool later on too regardless of what travel power i take
  23. So what you are saying (in lamence terms) if regen is high, dont bother with other regen powers that aren't included in /regen?.

(Correct me if i'm wrong of course and thankyou for the replies)

  24. Haha! Great, thanks again, just been out badge finding, 137 badges so far at level 20 :P.

Also, although yes this is regen and we would already have stamina and quick recovery, would it be worth taking physical perfection and conserve power? Instead of maybe maneuvers and weave. Also is there any particular reason as to why not take hasten? Would have thought it might go nicely with Broad Sword's signature slow recharge rates and regens for the matter.
