Quote:I got Neurotika sorta situated on Virtue (at least with her costume and windows). I'll still have to re-set her binds. I joined the Forum 606 global chat and will just need a VG invite =)
There's a global chat channel now? Wow. The things I miss when I take a break from the coh site and sleep. -
Heya, folks. I also opened up a new folder at the group for Artists' Alley, called "WIP". WIP it, WIP it reaaaal good.
Members of the Artists' Alley can post their works in progress there if they want to show their current projects and get some feedback from the group. =) -
My global is (surprise) @Bayani. Feel free to add me,.

Quote:Hehe. If anything, it makes things a bit easier because it's one click to risque (that's 50% faster than two clicks!). Anyways, post something rather teasing and about 99.9% of the time the viewer's going to want to see if there's more on your gallery. And when they do find it...it's like Christmas for them so they'll keep coming back to you.Exactly. Personal galleries will still exist for those looking for the more "risqué" items

Quote:I believe the instructions I gave to the Gallery Directors to judge whether or not the piece can be kept in the group is this...Since no one is going to ask this question, I will...What about the ones that are more on the "Risque" side?
"If the art/picture was included in a comic book and put on a store/newstand shelf, would it be censored and out of reach of children or those underage?" If the answer's yes, then it shouldn't be on the page. Content on the same level as Sports Illustrated: Swimsuit edition issues or those pinup/comic books the publishers put out in the 90s are fair game. -
Pretty much. The Gallery Directors will move it if it doesn't quite fit. What is it exactly?

*yawns and stretches*
Is it time to go home yet? -
I'm sure there are some who could find that quality rather attractive. Hm...

Senor Caemgen is correct!
I'd also like to reiterate that this is for the CoH Community and not just the artists. Everyone has something they can contribute whether it's CoH art they've collected for themselves or even just non-CoH Favorites to the page. This Group Page is designed to become a hoard of art (and with any luck, a very organized one). It can only grow if everyone pitches in and contributes to the page.
Just make sure the credit is given where it's due on your submitted deviation and you're ensuring that the original artists of the piece are getting the views/credits for their work. In the end I believe that collectors, artists and viewers alike will benefit from pooling our works and finds on the page. -
Thanks for the suggestions. I'm sure I'll find someone. I'm just in no rush to do so at the moment. I've met quite a few colorists as of late. It's been more difficult to find inkers.
-edit-
Looks like Tom Chu will be coloring it. Well that was easy. -
Welcome to the boards, Clutch and the dA Group too!
-
I'm on Virtue. I should mention that when it comes to gift art/inclusion of characters in Bayani-related commissions...first nod goes to characters who actually team/RP with Bayani. Just sayin'....
Although I do have a bunch of characters on Victory too. But I would totally sit in Pocket D for hours and watch Lounge Crooner try to pick up chicks. -
-
No problem. the dA Group is going to be alot of fun, I think. I encourage everyone to keep contributing and adding more stuff to the page!
-
It's not finished yet, but the inks over blue lines is done for a team-up piece drawn by Tyler Kirkham. Inks were done by veteran comic artist Jack Purcell.
-
Bad Foo...bad! Fixed it.
Welcome aboard everyone else! We'll have an archive that can't be beat soon enough! -
I saw that! Some neat stuff there. I hope everyone starts adding more. =)
-
I would suggest that artists just use the screenshot folder to thumb through really. Or the pin-up galleries too. I don't think it's necessary to just have one gallery for model sheets.
-
*flumps and stretches out* Wow. I'm beat and it's not even the end of the day yet. >.<
