Moon Zone.
Egyptian or Jurassic zone.
(From the poll taken pre-DB):
Force Fields as a Defensive Set.
Whatever they meant by "Electric Hammer" Melee set.
Also:
Rikti EAT
Plasma Rifle or similar.
Wand/TechStaff Blast set of some kind.
Polearm of some kind melee set.
Realistic guesses would include:
New emotes, costume pieces, a few tweaks to powers (with a freespec).
Minor QoL improvements and UI upgrades.
And of course, the new issue will be following by whining, nerdrage and the gnashing of forumite's teeth. -
I regret not rotating through all my characters every time an Anniversary badge was available.
Now I got at least one character that I'll never play, but won't delete because he's got that stinking 1st anniv. badge and they're not global, yet. -
I believe that the OP's choice of the Kraken was likely only for the badge title "Krak is whack". But you are on to something, I think.

What is the exact time where a thread is old enough to be considered dead and new discussion warrants a new thread?
If you start a new thread about a topic whose last post was Yesterday and only one page back, you get "WHY start a new thread, the last one isn't dead!".
Would it be three days, a couple weeks, longer?
2008 is rather dead, though, I'll give you that. -
Okay, I'll bite.
Why twelve exactly?
Is it a specific reference or just a better number than five, ten or twenty?
Edit: Might be interesting to add badges for defeating specific monsters more than once each. Would bump up the interest in monster hunting (other than making them worth a couple Merits). -
I like big capes and I cannot lie.
You other heroes can deny... -
So, too slow of download speed, eh?
I get that too. -

Howdy. Sorry if this is in the wrong section.
My Arc "Destination: Legend" by @BBQ_Pork needs to be a little spookier.
Arc #399286. <-----NEW NUMBER!
What I need is:
An idea for a spookier outdoor map that would be good for a Haunted Woods feel (Currently using the one from the Defeat Maruader mission, that looks like Perez Park).
Ideas for changing the custom foes, who are supposed to be huanted/animated dolls. I don't want to use Dark Miasma, Dark Blast and other obvious Dark powers, as I find getting stacking -ToHit to get to be too much after a while.
The arc is simple, just two (outdoor) missions long to allow plenty of room for a filled out Custom Mob with more than just three critter types in it.
Thank you in advance. -
Quote:Science: Mad Scientist? Creating an army of monsters? (Maybe like Arachnoids in the sewers?)ORGINS, the missions also could be spread out the missions.
Tech: would be, making dealth rays, robots, and stuff like that.
Magic: summions stuff.
I am not really sure what the other 3 would do. I am sure the Devs would know ; )
Natural: Sending Ninjas after you? -
Well, for certain target critters being stacked by themselves could be easier, for others, I could see it being harder.
*shrug*
As someone who is currently interested in a few Hunt badges (redside), I might have a bit of personal greed influencing my opinions, but I'll at least be honest about that. -

Personally, I feel that Defeat badges could be earnable within the AE, but NEVER within a tweaked custom mob.
Reason: Without it's standard complement of allies to support it, the badge target critter might be easier than usual to defeat.
That's just one opinion though. -
I always mouse-over the thread title. It shows me a bit about the contents of the first post.
Edit: and "Best Idea EVER!!" is one of those titles in this section that has been reused a lot over the years, and it's NEVER a good idea inside. Same thing with pretty much any really vague titled thread. They're just never any good. -
Quote:Question:all badges not AE related cannot be earned inside the AE (this goes for defeats, dmg, inf, heals, mezzes, even the sk badges)
Should those badges be earnable within the AE, and if so, under what circumstances?
I could see, for example, not getting credit for Unvieler (killing Fake Nems) if you ran an arc featuring a custom group of nothing but Fake Nems (for quick and easy farming). But if the entire, normal faction is within the map, the risk/reward would be the same as a non-AE Portal Corps mission. -
Forum rep means almost nothing. Don't worry about it.
+Rep can be obtained by posting insightful, polite and well-crafted posts, by having a few friends or by simply farming it.
-Rep can be obtained by trolling, by being hostile towards your fellow posters, or simply posting something that folks disagree with, although the first two methods are more common.
It's like Post Count in a way. A high Post Count means only that someone is very chatty. They like to discuss this game and post here. No more, no less. -

Originally, the Omega Team gambit was intended to be a trick, where several heroes were going to fake a short mission to the Rikti World and back, but instead would sneak off to Vegas for the weekend, unbeknownst to thier girlfriends/wives. But a few too many people got involved in the scam, Statesman heard about an idea to strike the Rikti in thier homeworld, and it all snowballed into a suicide mission instead.

I'm sure that they already have a plan.
I wouldn't mind an additional power in each, or at least many of the common pools.
I wouldn't mind them increasing the limit of common pools from 4 to 5 or 6.
Additional powers in each of the existing AT Primary/Secondary sets would be a bit to ask, but who knows? Maybe eventually. -

Magic: Orebega.
Science: Crey Labs.
Mutants: Sewers.
Natural: a gym....the Arena?
Tech...?
Might be easier to simply place them in thier respective SO stores. The Natural SO stores look sorta like those GNC stores at the mall. -
I'm still not terribly interested in this idea. In the first post, there is the statement about "Many Players" on Freedom and Virtue encountering a "Lack of names. Playing on Virtue (and Justice and a few others) I've very rarely encountered this problem.
I do avoid using common, single-English-word names though, which helps, but still have never had to resort to unneccesary punctuation, oddball spellings or gawd-forbid, numbers.
