You could always just roll a new character with the exact same build, almost the same name and level it up. Bam, 5 more slots! (Counting Base, L20, L30, L40 and H-Ween Salvage Unlockable)
Well, that's not quite the same, but that's the current workaround. -
I should be embarrassed for my reaction the first time I saw PPD Drones in a Mayhem Mission. I was like "Oh, <expletive>!! That's gonna one-shot me like a Hellion trying to use the tram, isn't it?"

"I'm Captain SuperDuper and I support Proposition 25! Vote yes! Also, re-elect Bob Smith, he's not a Skrull!"

I like the music choice.
For the longest time, I thought that Grendel was the Troll's patron saint of Retreat.
"For Grendel!!" *runs off * -
Quote:Heh. And some politicians would get some heroes (or lookalikes) to use as backdrops for speeches.I am pretty sure that Glen Beck would not so casually mention a hero and then just so happen to casually mention Nazis. If the hero happened to be an alien then he would go on for years about the immigration problem.
The rest of the media would be split between calling them sinners and saints. Plus would be quick to splash the screen, pages, etc with blood on the first mistake that leads to anyone dying. Or anyone dying and said heroes nowhere around. Just queue up the song, `Dirty Laundry` and put it on repeat.
Everyone's going to want to use them to thier benefit.
The flip side? Heroes are goingto ally themselves to different causes, and they will use the media in thier own ways. For every Batman who skulks in the shadows (or tries to avoid the limelight) there will be the attention-hound who actively seeks the publicity and the fame, calling the paparazzi ahead of time when he's going to be somewhere "in character". -
I quite enjoy my Elec/Elec. It has it's pros and cons.
Limitless Endurance, ignores sappers, Saps foes like crazy.
Has a +Run/+Rech built in.
Very weak against Toxic, outside of it's godmode. (But outside of Arachnoids, not a problem.)
I got the feeling that while Elec Melee needed Elec Armor, Elec Armor didn't need Elec Melee much. -
Indeed, and that's a perfectly legitamate decision. In the Suggestions forum there was some discussion of how clumsy/awkward/annoying/<adjective of choice> people thought the Respec system worked.
I myself will be respeccing characters when the time comes.
To each his own! -

Quote:My thoughts?Inherent Fitness is just fantastic; it was on my top ten of "never gonna happen".
Since the announcement, I've seen quite a few threads about more enhancement slots for the new powers we'll able to choose in place of Fitness. I'm fine without new slots, I can deal with that. That said, the murmurs have gotten me thinking:
The Level 47 and 49 powers seldom have many slots allocated to them(especially the level 49 power). I wonder if it might be a feasible idea to grant four enhancement slots at level 48 and 50 instead of three. This could make the 47 & 49 a bit stronger, or allocated to the newer power picks(and without severely unbalancing the system).
Thoughts?
I want more stuff. I like getting free stuff and I would like more slots.
But I'll admit that I probably don't need most of the stuff that I want.
Also: we don't know whether or not any additional slots are planned when the Devs make Fitness inherent. So I'm not going to stress out quite yet either way. -

At least those funky "Eye Plug" (spiked and non-spiked) costume pieces at the tailor would finally make sense.

I'm still waiting on a Canada Joe SF (or at least a story arc).

Quote:It sounds like a reasonable suggestion, regarding the option of having alternate animations.I would love to see some power sets, Dark Melee and Armor come to mind, have more generic flavor descriptions. What I mean is instead of "you tap into the netherworld...blah blah", that it has a description where it does not clash with the players concepts. My mutants do not tap into the netherworld they tap into themselves. The same goes for the animations for Dark melee (especialy for stalkers), dark blast, miasma, etc. They need alt power animations that do not have the skulls etc.. Its just too magical for non-magic concepts. I would love to play a mutation dark melee stalker but I can not get around the assassin strike having a Huge Freaking Skull shooting at my target, just doesn't feel Mutation to me :/
Sorry had too much caffeine this morning.
Where concept clashes, feel free to ignore the flavor descriptions. I'm of the opinion that what you write in your bio may override the power descritions, at least to some degree. -

Here you go.

Quote:Edit: no snarkiness was intended, just trying to lead the OP to a section of the forum where this would be better suited, as well as being a section that may be of interest to him.Mission Architect This forum is for the discussion of Mission Architect; a place to request help on how the Mission Architect feature works as well as a place to post advice, guides, resources and tricks using the MA system. You can even advertise your arc or ask lore questions here! The "tone" of the quoted text was copy-pasted from the forum itself, not written by me.
2nd Edit: He seems to have found other spots to advertise, as his first four posts on the forum are this one, and this one posted three other places. Meh. Either way, Good Luck to him! -
My basis for this question is a fully functioning SG (and a VG as well) where the other four accounts have been deactivated for quite a while, where mine is the sole survivor. The other accounts still have characters in the SG, and I have no intent to boot them.
I have the luxury of knowing them all in RL, my best friend and his relations, so communication isn't a problem.
I might let my account lapse for a few months, should I be unable to play for those months (otherwise, I'm just paying for dayjobs to build up, and my characters have almost all dayjobs).
I'm going to clear the junk IOs from the bins just to get rid of them, (buddy accumulated junk sets to frankenslots his kid's and his brother's characters) and was wondering what to do with the "good stuff". It sounds like everything would remain (okay, the power will be off, but that's just a quick trip to pay the SG rent) fully intact. -
Question: What happens to a SG base when the last player with an active account cancels his account?
A) If he renews his account after a while, will the Enhancments and Salvage in the bins still be there?
B) Will the Base still be there?
C) If the Base is gone will the Prestige spent building it be refunded?
D) Will the SG be dissolved or remain intact? -
Embarassing?
With my old computer and monitor, my graphics were poor. No big deal, but when IOs came out, I couldn't tell what the graphic was for the Tempered Readiness set.

I squinted at it and said to myself. "It's a Slow set, but what is that thing? Looks like a toilet seat. That can't be right, can it?"
Now if a fellow can't tell the difference between a toilet seat and a coil of rope, don't let him in your toolshed. -
You'll have to be in SG Mode when you touch the badge locations, and since you weren't in that SG at the time, no.
But since you've already found the locations, it should be a snap to join the SG, get into SG mode and take a quick jaunt around the zone.
THEN, the SG will have the beacon badge, which will NOT disappear if you quit the SG. -
Unfortunately, I was starting to hope for a "Nemesis Robotic Zombie Horse". That's one dead cyber-equine that can be beaten again and again, much like this topic.
