Back in '04 (on Justice), I had to create a solo SG named "I don't wanna join your SG" since blindly SG-Inviting was the norm and I hated unannounced pop-ups.

Rated much higher than it should, IMO. It's time-consuming and tedious, but not that bad. All the ambush spawns follow the same path, so it's just a matter of waiting. While you wait, place Trip Mines or wait for certain powers to recharge.Quote:

No way. Defeat All in Council Fish farm is way worse. Throughout the entire map you have to look through all those IKEA semi-bunkers (Instructions apparently fell out of the box and slid behind the fridge) for that extra spawn hanging around.Quote:

#1.... The Defeat All in the Cave Cake Layer Map! Anytime I get this one I immediately auto-complete.
The Layer Cake room is easy, it just has a memorable title bestown upon it by the player base. Enter the room, hang a right and clear going counter-clockwise, taking the ramps as you see them. Get to the top, drop down a level, circle that level, drop down one and repeat. Easy.
The hardest part would be accidentally falling down a level, but it's not like we don't have vertical travel powers much sooner than we used to (I'm thinking Mayhem/Safeguard Temp Towers at L5+ and Vet Reward "skip a tier" to take a travel power at L6+.)
Now I'm sure there's a method that is easy to remember that makes the fish hatchery room quick and efficient, but taking the two "problematic" rooms out of both maps, the Council one is far more annoying to me. -
For best results: head down to the Scrapper section of the forums. They got the number crunchers for the Scrapper AT that can get what you want out of that build.

What confuses me is why we needed to have an additional unit of currency in the form of A-merits.

If you need to, you can run up to a group that is just outside of the area, hit them with brawl (or some other minor attack) and get them to follow you into the right spot, then nail them.

This was suggested before and I still agree with it. Would be nice to grab outleveled Safeguard/Mayhem missions, particularly ones where I missed the badges inside.

I'd rather have Farmers than PL'ers.
One generates tons of loot.
The other generates slots needing loot.
The one generating loot might be selling the stuff I want to buy.
Edit: To the OP: Ever consider joining (or starting) a Global channel for Farmers? Might take a little boredom/loneliness out of solo-grinding -

I don't hate caves.
I dislike them.
I hate Council/5thColumn maps more.
For as bad of a rap that the "layer cake room" has, I actually don't mind it at all.
The "Fish Hatchery/Swimming Pool" Council room, though, I hate, alongside of thier IKEA bunkers.
But this is just opinion though. -

Ironicly, I'm pretty sure that this very thread actually meets the criteria for something that would get locked/deleted if posted on a weekday. Reason: "discussion of moderator actions". (I'll check to make sure and edit this post if needed)

This suggestion meets my criteria:
Makes sense.
Has little-to-no downside.
Is presented in a logical, well-written manner.
Has data.
I support this suggestion and would like to see it implemented.

As far as I can tell, the Debt Protection set bonus is one that was meant to be a "filler" in a set. They had to put something there, but wanted to make sure that some sets would be highly valued (and thus expensive) and some would be less desirable (and thus easy to acquire for the budget-minded).
A quick glance through Paragonwiki and I'm not seeing any Purple sets for Resist Damage or Snipe sets. Should the Devs ever put one together, I would find it hilarious for one of the set bonuses (at the 3 or 4 spot preferably) to be an "Ultimate Debt Protection Bonus" in the 10-15% range. This would be funny because it's in a Purple set, one of the most coveted things in the game, and because while they may drop at L47+, they're only slottable for L50 characters.
Or maybe in a new PvP set, should there be a desire for one.
