The "doohicky" being the account server/database and the "whatchamacallit" being the market server/database.

Quote:You are correct. GR gave 2 character slots before Freedom (Issue 21). It no longer does. They announced this change before Freedom went live, most likely to allow people time to get and apply GR to their accounts that they wanted extra slots on.This one I don't think is correct. I think you got the two global slots if you applied the code before Freedom launched (was Freedom Issue 21? not sure). I think they stated that the global slots would no longer be given out with box codes after the launch of Freedom.
I could be wrong about all that. Just trying to let the OP know what they might or might not get. -

I would be pretty sure that they would realize you'd have excess tokens at the same time as creating the tree, and thus the consumables were not an afterthought or reaction, but an actual design step.

Epics require purchase on a premium account even if you have applicable level characters. Freedom changed that.

Quote:Regarding sashes...This.
Sometimes Im just tripping when I see dev quotes like:
"Seriously? You guys want Carnies costume pieces? Or sashes? Really?"
Is like they are kidding or just ignoring the feedback.
At PAX 2011's costume panel (PAX, not PAX east), I was the first one in line for Q&A/suggestions, and asked for sashes. There was some chuckling from everyone (including in the audience), which may or may not have been because of my enthusiastic IMMEDIATE jump up and scuttle to the microphone, but I think it was also because they were expecting it. (There were some of "those" glances going between the devs. Like "uh huh, who had "first suggestion" in the betting pool?" kind of looks. lol)
(yes, I did scuttle. it was darn near Zoidberg woob woob woob scuttling.) -
Quote:Ah, okay. If that is what the OP means (I honestly have NO IDEA), then yes.I believe stage 1 of the game download allows character creator and maybe tutorial. He would have to wait till Stage 2 completes to be able to skip the Tutorial. So I think he was just trying to skip the tutorial.
Stage 1 allows character creator play. Stage 1 must complete in order to enter the tutorial.
Stage 2 allows tutorial play. Stage 2 must complete in order to leave the tutorial or skip it.
Stage 3 allows Atlas Park/Mercy Island play (including instanced missions). Stage 3 must complete in order to go anywhere else in the game.
Stage 4 allows access to the rest of the game. From what I've seen, Stage 4 is always very fast for some reason. I'm wondering if it's all the level restricted content which a new player wouldn't need access to. -
Quote:Word.Toon is easier to type. The End.
It's amazing what gets people all worked up.
I put a lot of time, effort, and love into my TOONS. I never assume whether or not you put any time, effort, and love into your toons. Why do you care what I call them? It's not like it changes how much time, effort, and love you've put into them. I've got bigger fish to fry than your feelings on a term used in a pretendy fun time game.
I also call them chars and characters, but I never call them avatars. For some reason, "avatar" sounds pretentious. lol -
This made me lol. Expecting better UI design out of the recent UI changes might be expecting more than they can deliver. Almost every new or "updated" (cough cough) UI in the last few years has been atrocious, from both a usability standpoint and from an aesthetics standpoint.
The only thing I was actually impressed with was the Incarnate UI, which while *still* not being a GREAT UI, was certainly a *LOT* better than I was expecting them to put out. -

Yes. Aggelakis is my main character in any game I play. Sometimes she mutates (by reroll or creating multiple versions) but she's always my main.

Balsafer is a premium player, so I was answering his premium player question.

To have MMs unlocked, you need 13 reward tokens. If you don't have 13 reward tokens, you won't have MMs unlocked and need to either obtain more reward tokens (every 1200 paragon points you buy grants a reward token, or you can go VIP and subscribe until you have enough tokens from the monthly award) or purchase the account unlock on the Paragon Market.
Epic ATs being unlocked without purchase is a rare bug. -
SI has two applications of defense - if you are not in combat, you get both; if you are in combat, you only get the first one. It's the same with Stealth from the Concealment pool, and a lot of other stealth or defense powers that talk about "suppress in combat".

They answered my F2P account's AAQ petition about a stuck mission.
You can't submit a /petition ingame and get a response. (They'll tell you it's only for VIPs, which is hysterical because THEY TAKE TIME TO WRITE YOU instead of just turning off /petition for freebies/preemies.) You can submit an AAQ and get a response, which is what I did. -
If you use a global slot token, it turns into a server slot token. Server slot tokens can only be used on that server, they cannot be moved elsewhere. So you can unlock however many characters (or empty slots) are on however many servers that you have server slot unlocks on, and then however many global slot tokens you have, that's how many characters (or empty slots) you can unlock anywhere you choose (except Exalted).

Try logging out and back in to jog the database connection. Might simply be a miscommunication between the servers. Also, check in Account Management > Billing Summary. At the bottom is a history of points award dates. Should see two allotments there.

I'm not sure whether you mean Dark Melee or Dark Armor, but Dark Miasma is a support set not a melee/armor set. :x
