Instead of using the little tab buttons, you can use:
/chatcycle to cycle through default chat channels
/tabnext to move forward (/tabprev to move backward) in your chat tabs
/tabselect <tab name> to select a specific tab
If you only swap between two chat tabs, you can use /tabtoggle to go between the two. It makes the previous active tab the current active tab, which allows a circular rotation of the two.
The /tab<x> commands will open a chat tab if it is closed. -
It's against the rules to sell your account, which they do care about, and technically it's against the rules to give your account to someone, but they don't care.
I inherited my main account from my ex (which we initially shared, which is also against the rules) because he stopped playing.
But they don't care. -
Third figure here? That's part of the fire set.

/bind sysrq "screenshotui 0$$screenshot"
/bind shift+sysrq "screenshotui 1$$screenshot"
Hitting "print screen" will take a clean screenshot (like default).
Holding shift and hitting "print screen" will take a UI-full screenshot. -
Quote:Paragon Points, not Reward Token, Snow.I'll assume that you already got the -ONE- Paragon Reward Token at Freedom launch for having any non-zero number of boxed/retail editions.
You'll get the token for the month's subscription time at the end of the month.
-----
Zamuel:
If you used this ona currently-VIP account: You should get your points when your current month expires and your new month begins (the day after what would have been your "billing date" if you hadn't extended it with your box code).
If you used this on a previously-Premium account (now temporarily VIP): You should have gotten your points the day after you put in the box code. If not, send a support request to support@ncsoft.com or the Ask a Question tab of the knowledge base. (Preemies don't get in-game support.) -
Out of curiosity, what are your notoriety settings?
-
Dark One: You can verify whether or not you got two batches of points by looking at the Billing section of the Account Management page. That, at least, they seem to be able to keep a correct log of. I haven't ever heard of that being wrong from the large number (possibly a hundred, possibly more) of people I've talked to about it.

You're talking about "camera view" movement versus "character view" movement.
Games like ....uhhhh, Tomb Raider, Skyrim, etc.: if you push W, you move forward from where your camera is facing.
I *HATE* that. I have stopped playing a large number of games that do that. -
Procs affect you, not your pets, unless they say "target" instead of "caster" and they are in a power that affects your pets (example: the Performance Shifter proc grants endurance to its TARGET, which if you slot it in, say, Accelerated Metabolism is you and any ally in PBAOE range. example: the kismet grants a tohit bonus to the caster, which is you.)
Set bonuses affect you, period.
Pets do not use any archetype data to base powers off of. They use their own data. City of Data for all the nitty-gritty details: http://tomax.cohtitan.com/data/powers/ -
Before Freedom:
You had 12 character slots for free per server, with a max of 36 per server. So you bought (or somehow earned, like through a GR box, or veteran rewards, or the I12 grant) 24 character slots in order to max Justice out.
After Freedom:
You have 2 character slots for free per server, plus 24 that you had purchased prior to Freedom, for a total of 26. In order to unlock the rest of your characters, you need to purchase 10 more character slots.
Note that after Freedom, Premium players have a max of 36 characters per server and VIP players have a max of 48 slots per server. So it's entirely possible, these days, to have more characters than you are even capable of unlocking, if you swap between VIP and F2P after buying enough slots. -

Quote:Slap three on the EndMod and you're just over the final ED threshold. (if you're using all 50s)I tend to use the same slotting (it seems pretty popular). How many Enhancement Boosters do you need to push the End Mod bonus to full ED level? I have a few vet reward ones lying around that I have not used yet.
[EDIT]
To be honest, the difference is less than a full percent difference in endurance modification (47.95% vs 48.82%).
For some reason I was thinking it was a couple percent, but I think that's Hasten I'm thinking of. I've dropped hasten to 2 slots, with level 50 rech IOs boosted to +4 each which puts you just over the final threshold. That's a significant difference between 2 lv50s (245.5sec not including Hasten's own buff) verses 2 lv50+4s (230.5sec). -
Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only one who thought Master Midnight was a riot. I loved him. He is (was) such a derpy doo.

Quote:Pretty much complete consolidated list. And by "pretty much complete", the only thing I don't see on there is the SG stuff...I would put it in there but I'm not 100% sure EXACTLY how it works (I honestly don't have any rogues or vigilantes) so I don't know exactly how to word it. Hopefully someone else will come along and add it.Thank you - I remembered the SG stuff and Oro stuff but I couldn't remember what else - I have two people that I am helping that are learning the game and I was looking and missed a consolidated list.

Frankenslotting or using enhancement boosters to be able to drop enhancements/slots elsewhere.

Quote:Since I was the person that brought up "avatar" sounding pretentious, I would like to clarify:Nor do I. But any populist attitude that would accuse someone who uses a word like avatar of being pompous is a symptom of anti-intellectualism.
I don't give two squats what you call your virtual Barbie dolls. You can, in fact, call them virtual Barbie dolls and I wouldn't bat an eye. Call them chars, characters, charas, toons, avatars, whatever the heck you want to call them. I will never, ever roll my eyes at you or cringe at you for what you call them. (Please note the difference between you and I: I don't judge you based on what you call your virtual Barbie dolls. You judge me, though, completely out of hand.)
I don't call my virtual Barbie dolls "avatars" because in my mind, and for reasons I have no idea where it came from, "avatar" is a lot more formal a word than what I would apply to a virtual Barbie doll. The internet is casual, and for some reason - to me - "avatar" is not a casual word.
edit: I also want to point out that I said "pretentious", not "pompous". There is a slight but distinct difference between the words, which you should know if you really are a word nerd. -
And for costume matching purposes:
Here's the costume creation guide for Parallel Illusions (some items may have changed names or locations, but I don't think so!), what used to be a very popular Triumph supergroup based around freed Phantom Army characters. (I still have my PI, an ill/ff lingering in the low 20s.) -
Quote:Because it's considered a private conversation, which you are not supposed to share without the other person's permission. Why would that be against forum rules? I'd think sharing official info from GMs might be the safest thing one could do on the forums, yet it's actually banned?
Also because the forum rules that aren't the common sense forum rules that every forum has, are largely pretty stupid. -
I don't know how long you've been on planet earth, but I just want to warn you in case you're new here (lol): conversations are fluid and you have little to no control over where they go. Hopefully you can learn to deal with this fact and stop getting crabby when conversations change topics.

PShift +End, PShift EndMod, PShift EndMod/Rech, PShift EndMod/Acc. This gets set bonuses from the Performance Shifter pieces - +movement, +health, +recovery. If I wanted to squeeze a couple more percent out, I could Enhancement Boost one or more of them, but meh. Not worth the cost of the boosters.
edit: sometimes I leave out one of the EndMod/X pieces if I'm slot starved. -

NS does a weird sneer-scowl type of thing. Zwill can't get his face to do that.

99% of the time it doesn't require that though. 99% of the time, you just need to refresh the connection to the market.
