    I'm sure that was a typo. The Wiki says somewhere between 1:1,500 to 1:5,000.

    According to the editing history, whoever put the 5,000 number in seems to be passing on inside info. The 1,500 I put in since that seems to be aggregated play-test results. The two numbers could be reconciled if the 1:5,000 number was based on minions and the 1:1,500 number includes the higher chances of a purple drop when bosses and lieutenants are factored in.

    Special IOs, Globals, Procs, and Uniques

    The fact that some Procs give a global buff to a character and are continuously on if slotted in a passive power makes calling the other type of Special IOs 'Globals' somewhat of a misnomer, but since the Devs never gave us terms to distinguish these Special IOs from each other, the players have struggled to find agreed upon terminology that isn't misleading.

    At one time, all Special IOs were called Globals, or Procs, or even 'Unique IOs' ('unique' meaning only one of its kind can be slotted in a build). The fact is that some Globals are unique and some are not. Some Procs are unique and some are not. Some unique enhancements are neither Globals nor Procs.

    The only official name we've been given is 'proc' meaning 'procedure with a chance to happen' and that certainly doesn't apply to Globals which are always on, nor even to some of the Procs which always go off when the power is used (unless one wants to argue that 100% is a chance...which is indeed argued). Due to the fact that these proc-like globals all grant an effect lasting 120 seconds from activation, some call them 120s, Proc120s, or Proc-Like 120s. So, be aware that there will be differences in terms players use for Special IOs.

    Pool A is unweighted. This is the defeat-a-foe pool.

    Pool C+D is always weighted. This is the *extra roll* for drop that comes from defeating a boss. It's the same weighted table that the Merit Vendor Rare Recipe Roll uses and the Ticket Vendor Gold Recipe Roll uses. This info is from Synapse himself.

    The Wiki says it's unsure whether Purple rolls are pool A, but I think someone on the boards here convinced me they were Pool A... that should be updated if I can find that confirmation.

    Sleep and immobilization are holes in the AV Resistance (Pink Triangles of Doom). If that particular AV wasn't given a specific extra protection v. immob or sleep, then they are very easy to sleep or immob.

    The Orange Tower doesn't add any extra Sleep protection, thus, Recluse would have been easy to sleep if it weren't for all that high DEF making it nearly impossible to hit him in the first place.

    If the Orange Tower is destroyed or phased (caged, black-holed, dimension-shifted), then Recluse should be relatively easy to sleep.

    I've found IO speed bonuses to be disappointing. They buff off the base speed which is 14.32 mph for both RunSpeed and JumpSpeed (and FlySpeed as well).

    So, even if you racked up 20% speed bonus from IO sets/procs, that's only an extra 2.864 mph.
