This game has been a consistent part of my life for over five years now. A really good friend of mine urged me to give it a shot despite my vocal dislike of general MMOs, and within a hours of toying around with energy blast after making a fantastically unique avatar, I was hooked. I haven't looked back since despite some decisions that I disagreed with (vocally) over the years. I love this game. I love its community. And I'll really miss it.
To all the devs that have poured your time, heart, and ideas into this game over the years, I want to say thank you. You've brought many, many smiles to my face and countless hours of entertainment my way. I hope you all land on your feet and go on to do something even better.

I know my voice here is just a drop in the bucket, but I too want to say how amazing this game has been and how much I (and all of us) will miss the hard work and dedication you have all put into the game. I'm looking forward to reading twitters and other updates about all of your exploits so we can support your work in the future. Thank you so much!

This is....quite an unwelcome shock. Of all the games that I have been a part of, this is by far the one I enjoyed the most. Sure I took a lot of breaks, a lot extended, but the sheer difference from the rest of the market guaranteed that I would always return. From the freedom of visual character expression to the absolute freedom of movement to the fantastically stable and deranged people I have had the honor of meeting in this game...I'm going to miss having this to fall back to.
With that said, I thank you for providing such an awesome medium for various pursuits for many years of my gaming life. Here's hoping you all land well and have a hand in creating something even more industry-shaking!

There are no words to express how this makes me feel.
Before City, I hated MMOs. They were a scam. Why the hell should I have to keep paying for a game I already bought?
City changed my opinions on that.
I know I haven't always gotten along with the various Devs/Rednames here, but I also knew that that was OK. They didn't expect everyone to worship them as gods. They valued our opinions, input, and feedback. And even when they didn't make the changes/additions we wanted, we at least knew they listened to us.
I'm going to miss this game and Paragon Stuios oh so very much. There will forever be a Super Hero shaped hole in my heart.
