As long as that account has not previously had that box added to the account. For example, if you used to play way back and added Good Versus Evil to the account a few years ago, and let the subscription drop, you cannot pick up a copy now and add it again.

Just wondering does anyone know if I can apply the key code from the retail box of City of Villains or the Good Versus Evil edition to a free account and get a month of VIP access? I've read it was possible to get a month access with the Going Rogue expansion but I wasn't sure with the other editions of CoH.
