Part of the reason is that LSHIFT, RSHIFT, LCONTROL, RCONTROL, LALT, and RALT can't be used as chord keys.
The only chord keys accepted are SHIFT, CONTROL, and ALT. Yes, this means you can't bind LSHIFT+K and expect RSHIFT+K to be different.

I believe the issue is the mouse buttons are "buttons" not "clicks"
Try shift+Lbutton and see if that works for you.

Oh thanks both of you, yes that was a brain fart. I couldn't find it by searching the forums and I was like, 'Y my old Stone Brute teleports without the cursor?'.
But after the answers I googled 'bind teleport stone tank' (google is better than forum search sometimes) and found the right way to do it:
/bind lshift+lbutton "powexecname Teleport" - just tested with Freezing Rain on my new troller and it worked fine. I always wrote lshift anyway but never used the right shift or right control keys for anything since it'd be unpractical.

Hi all,
I use the lshift/lcontrol + (left mouse button) bind on a ton of powers like teleport, freezing rain, etc.
However I haven't been playing much lately and when I tried to setup this bind for FR and Tar Patch in two of my new toons, instead of getting the power to activate right away when I press the shift+click combination, I get the white cursor to place the power when I press shift and have to click later for the power to activate.
Am I doing something wrong? Maybe I'm typing the bind incorrectly:
bind lshift+lclick "powexecname Teleport" - that's what I remember I did and use now but I'm getting the cursor, especially annoying in the case of TP. But I'm thinking I must have forgotten the right way.
