Do the people who didn't get to pay for them get to use the telepads?
What happens when the person who bought them left the SG? (or they get kicked out?) Do the items vanish with them, or do they have to re-buy them for the next SG?
SGs could use more "stuff," though, absolutely. They've needed it for a long, long time.
What a great idea! I'd love to have some suckers uhm err I mean recruits spend real money to trick out my bases so I can boot them after I get what I want.
I'm all for adding more to bases, but the only things base related that should be "sold" is a decorative item pack that would unlock for the purchasers account that still needs prestige to be placed in a base. That way no one gets screwed if they get kicked from an SG.
Yes to adding stuff to bases (which is on the Soon™ list apparently), but NO to making it market based. It just....nah. Sits ill there. /unsigned

The only way the Paragon Market could ever be cleanly involved with something like this is if they ever got around to giving us individual player hideouts/housing. Then we could buy stuff for our own personal use under our strict control.

While there could be a financial attractiveness to sell base stuff on the market, I kind of feel that maybe won't sit well with people. After all, you have to be premium to even join an SG, and be a VIP to own one yourself. They money they get from your subscription should be enough but still...
If anything, giving Bases a 'revamp makeover reimagined update' would have merit by encouraging people to go VIP because "WOW! The bases look and function fantastic now, I want to get into that action!" If you make your pay-for features really great, they can sometimes sell themselves.

Forbin's suggestion is exactly the same as the base items in the Veteran Rewards/Paragon Rewards system. If a vet places those in the base, whoever edits the base can move them around at will...but if they delete/sell them, they're gone forever until someone drops another one in (which may or may not be the editor).

Heck it might even entice some F2P's into upgrading to Prem.
I guess I never thought of it that way. I understand that it would kind of suck for people out there that left a SG or downgrade there account and pay real money for it. Guess I didnt think that far ahead was just thinking of myself to buy stuff for my base lol
Can you please let us be able to buy things for bases with paragon market. Such as rooms, telepads, generators, and control equipment. Also please start bring out more decorative items for base for free. There are a lot of items on maps ans with in the city that I would love for the base. In general base need an update even for cosmetic reasons. They should get left out for all these years for the majority.
