Trying to Capture ID Screen

When I hit Print Screen on the ID screen and paste the results into paint, I get a blank graphic.

Is there a better way to capture the ID screen?

WARNING: I bold names.

You'll always get that on the ID, tailor or character select screen.

If you're running Windows 7 (think Vista has this too,) use the Snipping Tool - start it up, tab back over, select. Alternately, Fraps (and others) will do still capture as well as video capture - grab that.

(Edit - come to think of it, I haven't ever tried capturing the new ID screen.)

I'm on Vista Home Basic so no Snipping Tool.

If you've got Steam, use it to launch the game (non-Steam game) and then use the Steam screenshot function to capture images.

You can screen grab the ID screen if your playing in Windowed mode.

Have you tried hitting Print Screen and then pasting into MS Paint and saving it?

I guess that my utter failure to comprehend words on a screen, and even go so far as to suggest the blatant methods already stated, leaves me with no choice but to pop a few handfuls of Ambien and hope that I can catch up on the obvious sleep I've been missing lately...

Have you tried using Shift+PrintScreen? Not sure what the distinction is between the two functions, but in the past Shift+PrintScreen has successfully put the screen to the clipboard when PrintScreen alone just gave me a black image.
