Any way to automatically load window config file on launch?

I have a laptop that has lower resolution than my desktop. I've made a separate default window configuration file for it, which I can load from the options menu when I play a character there, just as I have one for my desktop. But the annoying thing is having to do that when I play on the laptop versus on the desktop. Because I have to do it twice: once when I play on the laptop, once when I play on the desktop. Even if I don't bother loading it on the laptop because I'm just checking my auctions, I still have to load it again on the desktop as the smaller screen resolution of the laptop pushed all the windows out of position.

Is there any way I can make CoH automatically load the file on launch so I don't have to bother mucking about with the menus?

No need for messing with the Menus. On the laptop, type /wdwsave to save your options. Create a macro by typing /macro wdw wdwload

This will create a macro button labeled wdw that you can click to quickly load the laptop settings.

Do the same on the desktop so that you can have a macro on the desktop as well. Much faster than going through the menus

No, there is no way to auto-load different settings on already-established characters. The only time the game auto-loads settings from wdw is upon character creation or during a window load bind/macro/options press.

After typing /wdwsave on both the laptop and desktop, if you're more of a keyboard person, you can change that macro to a bind (e.g. "/bind F12 wdwload") and it'll function the same way but a keypress instead of a mouseclick.

You could save the relevant registry entries and then create a windows command script to load those settings and then the launcher.
