Can you save body sliders?
Go to the screen to load the costume, click on the costume with the body you want, click cancel. You should now have that body with whatever costume was there initially.
Interesting thanks
That trick helps for the body but ... I have a somewhat different problem.
Almost all of my Alt's have custom faces. If you want to have the EXACT same face with and without a hat or perhaps a helmet, there is just no way I know of. You can, at best, estimate and write down the face slider positions for that particular customized face and then try to recreate them when you switch to a different type.
Is there any work around for that? Is there and kind of digital numeric readout each slider that you can find to set them to exact positions?
Here's hoping,
Jak
Save both of the costumes. Open them in a text editor. They're located in the costumes subfolder of your City installation.
The top part, down to but not including where it says "SkinColor #". Ignore everything after that. You should have something that says (numbers will be different obviously):
{ BoneScale 0.2681 ShoulderScale 0.4478 ChestScale -1 WaistScale 0.4753 HipScale -0.3659 HeadScales 0, 0, 0 BrowScales 0, 0, 0 CheekScales 0, 0, 0 ChinScales 0, 0, 0 CraniumScales 0, 0, 0 JawScales 0, 0, 0 NoseScales 0, 0, 0

I know you can save a costume but is it possible to save body sliders? IE height and other sliders?
