Leadership or Fighting for MA/FA scrapper?
I dont have an /FA scrapper, but the generic formula for s/l defense is :
Weave
CJ (which /FA needs anyway)
5 Kinetic Combats
Steadfast unique
Slot out Weave and you get to 32% s/l def, which by itself will substantially decrease your incoming damage. Furthermore, its one purple insp away from traditional soft-cap for s/l.
Someone with more practical experience with /FA on a scrap may have more in-depth suggestions, but thats my cookbook for building s/l defense.
It's been my experience that building up s/l def on a resist or regen based character creates something quite sturdy.

I forgot to mention the has 1 set of kinetic combat (more in the way), steadfast +def Unique and 3 sets of reactive armor too.
I think I will go with fighting like I thought in first place.
Tough and Weave. No question. I take them on almost every melee character I have (excluding a few concept characters). Given the returns for leadership powers on scrappers I don't think it'd be worth it. I find Tough to be as big an improvement, if not more so, as Weave. My own MA/FA scrapper went primarily for Recharge bonuses, but still felt plenty tough.
If you had to choose between weave and maneuvers, weave easily wins as it is nearly twice as powerful (though does not help your team as such) and it also entails taking tough which is also great for FA. My KM/FA is softcapped to s/l, with little focus on other types, and runs tough, weave and maneuvers at all times. In addition to five sets of KC and three sets of reactive armor, I made up the rest of the softcap with rectified reticles and obliterations. Is there any way you could take both?
One might also argue that if you were willing to settle for less defense anyway, maneuvers would be the better pick as it does help your team out which is quite relevant on trials. Then again, with the buff changes coming up, we may all be sitting at the hard cap on trials anyway.
I also have Obliterations and Touch of death...
Kinetic combat are expensive, but they will come with time.

I need to improve the survivability of my main.
She got Total radial revamp, so healing flames are up pretty fast as well as consume, and she got all healing, recovery and endurance Unique procs...
But her defenses are low for a scrapper.
I think both leadership and fighting consume same endurance per second, and its not a problem to get punch to unlock the other fighting powers...
The thing is I need more defense, she does plenty of damage...so...
What would you guys do?
