You can do it much more simply than that. Your character (any gender) does not make the Tough animation or sound effect if you are moving. just start running (or flying) forward and activate Tough. I've used this for years.

Is there a way to supress this disgusting sound? I HATE IT!
Maybe is cool for big brutes characters, but the female version of the scream is irritating. I just cant stand it... Its on par with ugly white fire from hasten. But I need the power...
Same with SS taunt... Why on earth a sound dev would ever think that was a cool sound?
So, how do you guys deal with this? Just turning off CoH sounds?
