More Enemy Variety in Level 50 newspaper/radio missions pretty please!

Newspaper missions are convient for me after running contact stuff at 50. But a couple days ago I was really wanting to fight some Knives without flashing back or AE and then thought, wouldn't that be killer if they came up in newspaper missions? Surely if Malta can show up they can too...and geez would fighting Wailers at level 50 be crazy fun. How about Ruluu (sp?) or Rikti? Admittedly I could live without Freaks or Nemesis...but in the interest of fairness they should be mentioned too.

I realize some groups do not go up to 50 and can respect that limitation, but why not more variety and include more of the groups that do go that high? Heroside it makes sense to exclude PD (I guess). Well, that and perhaps the Romans should stay in Rome. With the abandon feature it'd seem like adding more groups wouldn't be as big of a deal but maybe I'm missing something?

Maybe add some Praetorians?

Just fyi, you can get your fill of Cimerora and Rikti in their respective zones, since the contact there will give an unending chain of timed missions. ( I hate timed missions )

Running hero tips at 50 seems to get me endless Malta, KoA and DE with occasionally Nems and Carnies to spice things up a bit; I think I've even had Freaks once or twice.

Yes, I meant PPD...was well past my bedtime so apologies for the oversight! But you know, there could always be signs of corruption in the ranks...but that'd be more of a tips category mission anyways.

And yeah, with their own zone I'd like to keep them there with regards to the Romans, not so much with Rikti since they're kind of everywhere anyways so can't see that hurting or taking away from the RWZ. Personally it'd be nice to not have a timer for their missions, but just my opinion.

The tip missions are great fun, but there's that whole limit thing of only 5 a day. Sometimes I just get stuck in that whole brute smash mentality and run more than 10 missions some nights, you know? It's not reward orientated for me personally, it's all about blowing off some steam some nights. Nights I'm not in that mode I tend to cycle through more alts and have more options but I digress. (I'm not interested in the limit changing on tip missions either by the way, think it's good where it is.)

You can do as many tip missions as you like a day, you only get alignment point credit for five a day. So you can continue doing tips past five a day, but at that point you're not gaining anything toward alignment change or reaffirmation.

Yeah, I've only been allowed 5 per day per character as well. I'm assuming you mean if I were teaming I could join others tip missions as well after my 5? Unfortunately teaming is not always an option personally (darn real life sometimes ) so I actually was unaware of that and thank you for pointing it out as another option.

But my request really isn't about tip missions subbing for newspaper/radio missions. All I'm requesting is Knives/Ruluu/etc in the same exact kidnap/boss defeat/glowie format they have in place now. Goodness, they could use the same text and just switch a couple boss names...I fail to see much difference between a KOA saying Silver Mantis is hot than some of the robots/creatures that do now for instance.

I gotta agree here. The radio missions are pretty lack luster now. I still believe that tips would have worked their way into the radio/paper system quite nicely. Supplying a tenuous story arc to radio and paper missions would be a great way to liven them up. Really it shouldn't be too hard to write up some single mission stories with a good one liner or a little intrigue. Just because it's filler doesn't mean it has to be carp.

yes OP more enemy groups would be nice.

For lvl 50 Paper missions(Red) seems my choices are Malta, Council, Carnies, and CoT

Crey can be added for all 20+ content (See Silver Mantis for lvl 20 Crey)

DE - can be added to all 30+

Freaks - Not sure why they don't show up. Really the missions are top small to really farm them.

PPD - Jail Break mission similar to the side missions in Mayhem. Break Ms Lohan out of Jail 0.o

Nemesis - Another why not?
