I just logged into a character that's too new to have a freespec from the i20 grant, and the /respec command works for him. Looks like they were granted with the Vanguard Pack this morning.

Just remember Freespecs don't stack. If you still have a freespec from a previous issue you won't get any more until it's used, and any that are handed out while you have an unused freespec on a character are forever lost.
It looks like the free respec was applied later than when I checked my characters. It might be related to the issues people were having with the Vanguard pack and anniversary badge not being granted, but I'm fine now.
I am particularly happy to see this, as I burned the I20 freespec on my current favorite character early this week. Although I liked the results, suddenly last night I thought of a way to shoehorn in another bonus. I was all set to burn a vetspec tonight to put the new plan into effect, having been unaware we were getting a new freespec with the Vanguard pack. For once, it's perfectly timed for me!

I'm not in any rush to get them. I just wondered because I already have plans for using the respecs on several characters. Issue 20 has shown us how much of a grind the Incarnate system will be and I feel the need to consolidate my characters down to three primary Incarnates. The characters I need the respecs for are in the process of being stripped of IOs.
