Mother Mayhem costume parts

I'm one of those who don't want an option to skip the cut scenes of BAF. Mother Mayhem look great, and I have a couple of toons that would love to walk in her clothes.

How about a Mother Mayhem costume set? It has to be somewhat exclusive, preferable a paid booster back or at least require the Master of the B.A.F. Badge.

Signature NPCs are usually designed to have signature costume parts, never to be made available to players. Unfortunately. (I'm not particularly fond of MM's costume, but there are other NPCs I want to steal clothes from.)

So you're saying that in order for us to get access to her costume, Mother Mayhem would have to lose hers? I'm not seeing a downside here.

"You don't lose levels. You don't have equipment to wear out, repair, or lose, or that anyone can steal from you. About the only thing lighter than debt they could do is have an NPC walk by, point and laugh before you can go to the hospital or base." -Memphis_Bill

I'd love to have some of those costume pieces. From what I understand, signature characters would have at least one piece that was exclusive to them. BAB has the gauntlets, Statesman has the unique over the shoulders cape, Manticore has the headpiece, etc, etc. I think you can make pretty much the same the same costumes as what they wear save for those pieces. I don't know(obviously) how the devs feel about that sort of thing now, if they want to maintain that, or if they want the newer Signature/NPCs costumes to be completely unique to them.

If they do open up some of those pieces(Not just from Mother) I would be very very happy!

That's not a push up bra. That's an engineering masterpiece trying to contain, in a dam like fashion, what could be seen as several metric tons of liquid volume.

As they've explained it before, signature characters need at least one piece that is unique to them, both so that they're not copyable, and so that they're clearly distinct and unique. I'm not sure where Sister Psyche features into this, considering her costume is made up entirely of player-usable pieces, but that's besides the point.

I postulate, therefore, that unless Mother Mayhem's breasts are her signature piece (and given her name, I could see that), then I request that we be allowed to use those breasts on our costumes, as well.

...

I guess we could use the rest of the costume, as well.

I think it's a funny people are always focusing on Mother Mammaries rather ample and obvious "life preservers" in that cutscene. To me Praetorian Nightstar is far more suggestively posed there. Does the term "robotic camel toe" mean anything to anyone?

Her legs are welded on too tight.

Being a guy and having to follow around my toons looking at their backsides all the time, I usually prefer to make them backsides that I like to look at! I have three nearly full pages of toons and all but four or five are female. I would kill to be able to dress a toon in a Cim' Seers gauze like outfit. That could be a backside worth following around!

Well whether or not Nightstar is "fully functional" is certainly an interesting question.
But even if she isn't it's at least yet another example of "hiding" superheroine nudity in plain sight.

Considering how little time I spend actually looking at my character when playing, I never understood this. How do you not trip over street curbs if you're checking your character's *** all the time? How do you see which enemy to target or which door to click?

Actually for me it's the walking animation. Male characters walk as if they.... um... have been playing pool facing the wrong direction. For lack of a better description. Almost all my male character have capes to cover this animation.

Check out the Repeat Offenders network of SGs! You'll be glad you did.

The actual characters in a list like this aren't really important. The main point is that comic book artists have had fun drawing female characters with as little obvious clothing as possible for decades now. I'm just highlighting the fact that even Nightstar in this cutscene is drawn in a way that is highly suggestive even if it was by complete accident.

Yeah, sure, but I assume you've seen the female model while using the 'Walk' power... C'mon, if their hips swayed any more, they would dislocate a joint! I'm not complaining, but is overly noticeable. Then again, as has been said, that is commonplace for most comic-book characters.

*wrangles in his post and whips it back on topic*

All signature characters have something: Statesman has a Detail 1, Back Alley Brawler has Gloves, and Mother Mayhem just happens to have a rather unique Chest Detail...

@Winter. Because I'm Winter. Period.

True, true, but the article I quoted seems to regard this as some kind of travesty, like the artists and designers were idiots and only knuckle-dragging morons would enjoy such a character. And I happen to disagree... Then again, I may be a knuckle-dragging moron when it comes to taste in art and fiction. I'm still having that checked out.

As for Nightstar... Ayup! And I wouldn't have it any other way! "Mother," too, for that matter. Like I said - I have nothing against her cleavage. I want to use it on my own characters.
