Ah, okay. I seem to remember there being 2XP during the spidermonkey farms, but that might just be senility catching up to me.
The only time I remember double exp in the AE was the first time it was done when AE first arrived in the game. By the second time it was said to be a bug that they didn't have the time to fix and there has not been double exp in the AE since.
I could be wrong too, I am getting older very year this game stays active. =)

Double xp is achieved by setting patrol xp to 100% (instead of the normal 50%) and then making everybody's patrol xp status on. Since AE doesn't use patrol xp there is no bonus xp given in AE durring double xp weekends.

But we'll go with it.
Just to check, does double XP work in AE? I figure I'd take lowbies on runs through my arc, but it wouldn't be fair if they'd get better rewards outside.
