Mission dialogue in chat logs
Hmm, I could have sworn they were logged. As an impromptu measure, you could always set up an extra chat tab that only logs NPC chat.
I'm talking about the colored boxes you get during some of the Praetorian plot missions which don't show up in the chat windows at all.
The ones where the mission NPC is talking to directly to you like "Hey, it's Wrencher, the guy you're supposed to meet" or "If Crow distracts my partner again, I'll cut him, deep," are the ones the OP is discussing I believe.
They do not show up in the NPC chatter lines.
Yeah, those! Stuff like "[yourname], this is [contact]. I'm picking up signals from your location, you'll have to move quickly." Or whatever. Of particular interest, all the ones from the crazy seer, which I'd love to have written down so I could try to puzzle them out.
I think there is an optoin to add them to the chat logs but I'm not 100% sure. If you edit the chat tab there is an 'invisible' line (It's a really dark colour so you can't see it I believe. I think that is the one you want, but can't test it right now as am at work.
I can confirm that, by adding the "blank" line in the channel list to a tab, you will log the pop-up messages. This should really be less obscure.

Why MA ratings should be changed from stars to "like" or "dislike"
A better algorithm for ordering MA arcs
I dunno what to call this. Not the mission text you get clicking on a mission. The little colored boxes that show up on screen and reveal ongoing plot stuff. I sometimes miss those during combat, and then I don't know what's going on. Could we get those as [NPC] chat, too, please? Thanks.
