Well, broke the hell out of Augustine. Any else see this before?

Task Force; Justine "the Jerk" Augustine
Team; five rogues, three heroes
Team Leader; myself, on a rogue

The second to last door mission is in Dark Astoria; the last door mission is in the Chantry, fixed on the south side of the death star there. So as I short cut, I o-zone (to red side o-zone) and call in to Augustine, with the intention of then going to CaP to use Vanguard base as a short cut to PI.

And this is what happened:


Inside o-zone. The red side o-zone. Heroes couldn't enter, obviously.

Going to try to see if I can break other TF's with the same method. :0

I've seen this before on another TF as well. It seems that TFs should always be called in from a Hero zone and SFs should always be called from a Villain zone, or there is a small chance that strange things like this may happen.

That sucks for it to happen on the last mission of a TF.
Were you able to get a GM to fix it for you?

On a side note, I wonder what would have happened if the Heroes used the Mission Transporter. haha

It's probably not as common for opposite factions to host TF/SFs (many people still think you can't), and even less common for them to be on the "wrong side" when calling in to the contact... and even less common for the mission to actually pop up in the "wrong place" because of it. haha

You didn't mention.. did a GM fix it for you? When it happened to me, we were only a mission or two in, so we just restarted instead of /petition-ing. I did /bug it anyway though, and got the standard "Thank You... We will forward your comments to the Development Team for consideration."

Bugs of this sort seem to happen occasionally. I've never had it happen on a TF, but I once had a mission from a contact change from St. Martial to Recluse's Victory. I kept it just for the novelty of it until I switched sides on that character and my missions got cleared.

Just finished it. End mission of Augustine TF only has... What, five spawns of CoT? Only three of the team was locked out. Heroes still got the TF badge/merits (there's a fedex after the last door mission that is technically the last mission).

Did you try resetting the mish - if necessary by having everyone log off?

Random question, could the heroes have used the Mission Teleporter power?

I know that I have used the mission tp power on a toon that was less than lvl 25 to zone into Ouroboros before (and /bug'ed it) just so that I could get the exploration badge/ouro portal (couldn't use it until 25 but...still).

Resetting a mission does not change it's location. You'd have to "Abandon" the mission to attempt to do something like that, which you cannot do during a TF.

On a side note, I want to point out that besides being able to get to the mission, Heroes would gain no benefit to being able to zone into the Villain Ouro anyway. Even if they tried zoning to one of the Villain zones, it would boot them back to Atlas Park. Also, clicking on a "pillar of ice and flame"... there is no such thing as a "Hero pillar" or a "Villain pillar". It would bring up the mission listing of your own faction, regardless if you are clicking on it on Hero or Vilainside, or even in an SG base.

Well okies....but if you are leading a hero TF again and something similar like this happens, try to ask the heroes to use the mission tp power.

Like I said in my previous post, I was (maybe still am) able to get to Ouroboros on a toon that was less than lvl 25....so never know and worth a shot
