Hello people,

I have, along many other projects, been looking into a SS/Elec Brute. Through the experience of other people discussing the set and it's advantages, I've decided to aim for perma-Energize. Now, the goal hasn't yet been reached, thus my approach to you guys; but first, my build thus far:

Now, I have some restrictions for your advice:

1. I would prefer to stay clear of Hasten, unless of course nothing else is possible in order to acchieve perma-energize
2. I know many people playing SS (on a brute) often stay clear of Jab, but I like the power, now that it has gotten another animation.

There you have it, I would prefer some reasoning for your help ^^

if you're going for s/l defense, why not 6 slot enfeebled operation in web envelop?

As said, I'm interested in perma-Energize without use of Hasten, not S/L def, that's just my second priority :P

I don't see how this is possible. You get perma energize at about 100% global recharge with hasten, so you'd need 180% global recharge without.

I see Guess it's time to ask for further advice then.

You see, the reason I don't/didn't want Hasten is that I always tend to try to perma that too, since it, IMO, is only useful when perma'ed

I have this build planned. The very rare spiritual boost should get Hasten close to perma, and purple sets or the base empowerment buff will get you to perma. KOB-Haymaker-Mu Lightning-Punch-Haymaker-Mu Lightning is the planned attack chain. The gladiator IO is problematic(I got lucky and it dropped in a duel), but you might be able to work around it.

I usually keep it a few seconds off perma, because most of the time making it perma would mean spending an additional billion inf for just a tiny improvement, while I could use that inf to twink out another toon from scratch (or deck out a couple with nice but not top-end builds).

I see your point there...

Oh, and have looked at your build and taken some ideas from it. Though, I've decided to settle for non-capped (but close tho) s/l def, and then have stroner rech. Not sure if I wanna Incarnate this toon, but I'll look at that when time comes. In the meantime, I'm sure I don't wanna use the Spiritual, as recharge's not supposed to be so important for this guy again.
