Pocket Talley's Art stuff! (Free sketches!)

Hello Talley, I'm glad you're enjoying the attention, but that's what happens when you wave the 'Free Art' flag around here.

And I'd like to join the parade, myself, though I don't have a lot of pictures.

This is Peregrine Lucius Smythe, better known as Perfect Perry. He is an 'Anti-Batman' - for every dark, tortured aspect of 'The Dark Knight', Perry has one full of light.

So...
Wealthy Scion - check.

Dead Parents - nope they're alive.

Dilettante Playboy - check.

Driven by Revenge - nope, he was initially driven by boredom, to become an amateur boxer, but as he got more into it, he 'Naturally' began to wanted to get better at it. Pride and a sense of personal accomplishment - something that was not simply 'given to him' due to family wealth, drove him to study and improve. Pure, 'Natural' talent, plus a lot of hard work, discipline, and practice... okay, and opportunities for utterly first-class training due to the family wealth, are the source of his powers. He got so good at boxing, due to his emerging powers, that he had to quit. It just wasn't Fair to the other (non-powered) contestants.

Criminal Encounter at a Movie Theater - check, it went badly for the thugs and Perry realized that his skills and powers could be used more positively, as a Hero.

Secret Identity - nope, like other wealthy people in the public spotlight, Perry has a 'public persona' for displaying to the photographers, news hounds, and hero-groupies, instead. The fact that it closely resembles his 'private self' just makes it easier to maintain.

Flashy Outfit - check... well, it's not so much that the outfit is especially flashy, except insofar as it it pristine white. Rather, being a 'Lightshow/Pom-poms' Tanker (Invulnerability/Energy Melee) means that it's nigh impossible to hide. His very every move is 'flashy'.
While his costume can pick up dirt, the material is protected by the 'Hero-Cloth' process (a Smythe Co. product), which renders it nigh impervious to stains and damage. How else do you think heroes can trek through the Paragon City Sewer System and come out victorious and still looking great?

Bat-cave, -belt, -car, -boat, -binoculars, -rope, -hula-hoop, etc. - nope, Perry maintains an apartment in the city. He may have several extras, besides the family mansion, various commercial office buildings, and of course his official fan-club maintains a mailbox and clubhouse. Otherwise, Perry utilizes a few common tools, plus his skills and abilities to fight crime and he gets around town just like everybody else - he walks (or super-jumps) or he takes the tram.

I could go on, but this is getting long and I think you get the picture.

Her bio:
Siobhan O'Shea was born in the western heath of Ireland. An area of Ireland trapped somewhere between the past and present.
Siobhan was the youngest of eleven children. She was nicknamed Clover because of the luck bestowed upon her family after her birth. Her siblings resented the attention she received, especially her eldest brother, Seamus (aka The Viper of Eire).
The family sent Clover to train with Tara Cormac to be a midwife. Unbeknownst to the O'Sheas, Tara was successful because of her knowledge of ancient Celtic magics.
Clover became well versed in Celtic illusionary and healing magics under Tara's tutelage. She has since surpassed her mentor's magical abilities. Clover still seeks wisdom and advice from Tara.

An election! I'm going to have to step up my game!!! But really, I rein in most of my perviness, I'm an old fashioned perv and the fact I never know who is really a boy or a girl keeps me in check.


Tally - both pieces so far were great but I totally loved the Tabcef (hope that's close) one - the goggles made the piece for me. Bubba's was nice but could be almost any cute blond since from head up she's not all that unique... Not much you could do about that though, it's just to show that tying in pieces unique to the game (or better yet) character really cement the piece down... Or something... Errr, yeah, if that makes sense?
