Connection problems since I19

Ever since I19 hit, I've been unable to play the game, other than a brief 40 minute period on Wednesday morning. Running the netgraph shows that the best ping I can get is around 425 and I've been up over 1000, and it seems to settle in around 600 most of the time. Sometimes when I log in, I get about 30 seconds of it under 200 and then it shoots straight up and becomes unplayable. I've reset my computer multiple times, along with the modem and router and nothing seems to help. I'm having no other connection problems anywhere else and I'm completely at my wit's end. Any help at all would be fantastic, I miss playing the game

Rantmo, you have a LOT of things that auto-startand run in the background. That wastes resources. Why have Adobe, googletalk, Quicktime etc. running all the time? You can always click on them as you need them.

Also, toolbars/searchbars can be bad news. If you don't really need them, disable them.

Try this too:
1. Go to your CoH folder, find the coh.checksum file and delete it. Close Explorer.

2. Go to desktop and click on your CoH icon. Let the files rebuild themselves. Close shortcut when it's done.

3. Defrag.

4. Click on the CoH shortcut again, and verify files. When it finishes, start your game.

Rantmo, you can run HijackThis again, place a checkmark on those 2 items and delete them.

Just for GPs, download Malwarebytes FREE and let it do a full scan. I did that and it found 5 nasties that my anti-virus program missed. My puter runs a lost better now, and stopped the CoH freezes.

Well I'm not sure what happened, but I was able to play for several hours today. Maybe it worked itself out finally.
