OK I just found out through slotting it, that Kismet: +6% Acc is useless to me slotted in invisibility because even though it says it grants a bonus for 120 seconds it doesn't, it shuts off as soon as I un-toggle the power, and can actually attack something.

My question is: if I move this unique to Grant Invisibility, will it still give me the 6% bonus? Or will it give the bonus to the person Im casting it on?

I currently have a Karma: +KB resist in Grant Invis, and it gives me just enough resistance for my rad/MM blaster, If I move it to invisibility, will it not give me the +KB resistance when Im not invisible?

Global Io : Functions in all ways as a set bonus - self buff that lists no duration - the KB and LotG Recharge IOs are this type.

Proc : the chance toX IOs that require thenpower be used - checks every 10 seconds in toggles and auto powers.

120s : Any IO that mentions the 120 second duration. The duration is only for clicks, always on you. In toggles, it lasts as long as the toggle is running, permanent in auto powers.

Just search www.paragonwiki.org for "Special IOs" for more info.

It's worth pointing out that this is a (relatively) recent change. Prior to I18 they worked for 120 seconds after you turned the toggle off.

Forgot to mention that. Was on iPhone waiting for my haircut.

Also, OP, while Kismet is a Unique IO the KB protections are not.

Yeah, it only does the 120 second part in a click power now. The 120 seconds on a toggle was deemed "not working as intended" and was changed.

It will give the bonus to you, for 120 seconds after using the power. I have this IO in Combat Jumping so it's always on when I'm fighting.

The Karma -KB IO works differently, same as everyone's favorite - Luck of the Gambler +7.5% recharge. Both of these will work just fine even if they are in a power that is NEVER turned on. I have a couple of characters who took powers only to hold one of these IO's.

You put that IO in one of the 2 WORST places to put it. Invisibility and Personal Force Field will both preventing you from attacking, but they both need to be toggled on to get the bonus.

Yes, you will get the 6% bonus in Grant Invis, because it is a click power. However, I recommend putting it in Combat Jumping or Hover, something you will constantly be running while in combat, that way you always have the bonus and aren't so dependanat on having a teammate around to let you get the buff from having it in an ally-only click power.

Now, this is a different case. If I recall correctly, you will have the KB protection as long as you are within 3 levels of the IO (lower that is, it doesn't matter how much higher you are). I don't believe it matters if you have access to the power it's in. Or it could be the other way around and you have it as long as you have access to the power and the level doesn't matter ( I can never keep those straight)

Thank everyone for the replies. It is now evident that if I switch these 2 special IOs around they will work like I want them to. I will wait until I19 and respec.

I do not have CJ on this special character which is parked at level 27, has been for over a year, no XP option, which I farm with. With I19 and inherent fitness I may be able to pick it up in replacement of sprint and hurdle.

This is a recentish change, the intent all along was that 120-second procs would be 120 seconds in a click, and on only when the toggle was on in a toggle. Recently, they implemented it correctly.

The KB resist is a "set bonus", not a proc. You will get it whenever you are no more than three levels below the level of the KB resist, even (as I understand it) in a power which is unavailable to you due to being exemplared.
