Congrats to team P3 for winning PvP Boot Camp season 1.
I've said it many times but I will say it again, all of you who participated in Boot Camp really impressed me with how you embraced PvP.
I want to thank Philly and Smallz for being a huge help with this event. You both are awesome emps and we couldn't have done this without you two. I'd like to thank Bug, Chop, and Seers for stepping up and helping to fill in as needed.
MP and Ele did amazing jobs as team captains and I know it put a lot of stress on both of them but they held it together and did a great job of leading their teams.
Remember to get any rule suggestions to Flux, Justaris, War-Nugget, Vanum or myself by next Friday for the rules meeting.
Thank you very much!
Masque- You did a wonderful job. I know that it was a very difficult task you undertook and I think it was wildly successful. You were in the middle of some heated discussions and you handled things well. I am really proud of you. Thank you for organizing this and helping out PvP on Victory. I know that I had a great time and made some new friends out of this

Awesome season of Boot Camp guys! Thank you to (MP's server) Victory for inviting me to be apart of it. I met some great people and made some awesome friends. All thanks to Masq for dragging me off of Virtue. I can't wait for Season 2!!
- Props to MP for being a good Captain of Pew Pew Pew, I definitely underestimated you! (O.o; should I have said that?)
- Thanks for sticking it out till the end Philly! You were my favorite target! *Fat slap* -----> Target is Philly Girl <-----
- Masque is the best!
- BAMBi was definitely my favorite emp student! You rawk girl, keep up the good work!
- Pyro, mah homie, thugs4life yo! <3
- Justice (Justaris), you came in rockin those heals and junk, awesome job dude.
- *Raids Masque's PvP IO bins*
- Pimp Hand = best team to fight, you guys were great at kicking our butts for the first half of the season! And showed great sportsmanship.
- I think my favorite part was when Avatea said "smell my poo!"
- Last but not least, in loving memory of BUG.... I LIKE TURTLES!!!!
I have the screen shots of the last matches scores, sorry they're not edited I'm too lazy.
First round, PH's map pick - Graveyard.
Second round, P3's map pick - Steel Canyon.
Last round, random map pick - Skyway.
Masque, what can I say. Thanks. You did a terrific job managing the insane lot of us. Balancing strong PvP play, with competitive players, while trying to teach newcomers (like me) strategy and tactics for team PvP is a task not for the weak, and you did an outstanding job of balancing all the madness, and the way you set it all up made for a great competition.
PvP is generally not my first choice in CoX of Fun Things to Do, but I had a lot of fun much more fun than I thought I would. Although PvP gets its detractors from all over in this game, with some smart restrictions put in by you and suggested by the other leaders in the group, the rock/paper/scissors nature of it makes for fun play, in my opinion. And as competitive as it got, the good nature of all of the players kept it fun for everyone.
I know it had to have been multiple tens of hours of time, thought, and effort beyond the actual gameplay, as well as a lot of emotional angst and brain-wringing to come up with solutions that would satisfy all of the different players diverse interests, needs, and preconceptions (mine included), and for all that extreme work, thanks.
I believe the requirements of our contract have been met. I will be expecting your promised payment of one shiny new Panacea Proc sent to @linarra. Have a pleasant day.

I read through the original thread and saw you asked the Emps to roll as Pains...so I rolled a Fire/Pain Corruptor, level 9 at the moment but will be moving it blueside for Accolades etc once it's 20.
Or a Peacebringer jealous of the AoE goodness!

The rules committee met last week to discuss the proposed rules for Boot Camp2. I just PM'd a draft of the final rules to Flux, Vanum, Justaris and War-Nugget.
The next group I'd like to meet with is the Event Ideas/Checkoff group:
This group includes:
FMP
Smallzies
Bambi
Yoshi
Linarra
Myself
If possible I'd like to meet this Friday at the normal Bootcamp time 9pm est. The meeting will not be long. I believe all of you recieved a copy of the layout I proposed if not I am PMing it to everyone on this group again. Once the layout and rules are approved by these two committees we will post signups and start getting people ready for Boot Camp2.
OK, rules and ideas groups have met, I will emailing everyone a draft of BC2 and we will get this rolling, shooting for a start date in early/mid April.
I will PMing those people who expressed interest in BC2 the information as well.
If possible I'd like to meet with the Scouting/balancing group this Friday at 9pm est. That group consists of: Philly; Wac; Pyro; Gris; and myself.
MP is correct.
If after 3 rounds we are tied we will play a tiebreaker match.
