Confused about IO from a set that won't slot

So, I'm playing a Praetorian Scrapper, and I have constructed a power-set enhancement Curtail Speed: Accuracy/Endurance, level 19. My scrapper is 19th level. When I try to find one of his powers to slot this into (many of which do accept accuracy and endurance enhancements individually), none of them are able to accept the enhancement. What gives? I haven't found anything in the documentation that explains why I wouldn't be able to...?

That set (Curtail Speed) will only work in powers that slow enemies.

If you don't have a slow power, you can't slot that.

Curtail Movement is a Slow set, so it has to be slotted in powers that accept Slow sets.

You need to look at the info for the power you want to slot. It will tell you what attributes categories (for Set IO enhancements) it will accept. Then you need to get an appropriate Set IO that fits that particular attribute category.

Here's an illustration I put together for past post. In this example, the poster was asking about using a Hold type Set IO.

Teams are the number one killer of soloists.

Welcome to the forums (and game?)!

You have crafted yourself an enhancement from a "Slow" set. If you mouse over any of your powers on the screen where you have your enhancements slotted, it should tell you what you can enhance it for (acc, dam recharge, etc.) and also what SETS the power accepts (melee damage, ranged damage, resist damage, etc).

Since you are on a scrapper, which, as far as I know, has no access to anything that accepts slow sets, you are out of luck on that enhancement--you may be able to sell it on the market, or use it for a different character, but not on that one.

Hope this helps!
