So I know about the Kraken, Babbage, Paladin, Ghost Ship, Lusca, etc... but who's the Ballista? Has anyone fought him before?

longbow ballistas are only EBs, the the longbow ballista that spawns every little while in st martial is one of the very few if only naturally spawning outdoor EBs

Rikti Heavies spawn naturally as EBs in RWZ.

Thank you, Champion.

You want info on GMs?

Here it is!

Clicking on the linked image above will take you off the City of Heroes site. However, the guides will be linked back here.

That doesn't tell me anything about the Ballista. I know about the GM's, I had just never heard or read anything about the Ballista EB.

I think this might be what you are looking for...
ParagonWiki: Ballista EB
Quote:
Longbow Ballista is an Elite Boss of Longbow. He can be found as a special named enemy type in various missions, as well as part of a zone event in St. Martial. During the zone event, Ballista will spawn in predefined locations between levels 30 to 35. He will stay in place and taunt players who may pass by. When attacked, several Longbow Spec-Ops will reveal themselves and ambush the player. There is no badge for defeating Ballista, and he will spawn at random intervals throughout Black Mariah.

As mentioned, there are more EBs that now spawn naturally, and there isn't really any reward for defeating him, so players tend not to bother... especially since a lvl 50 could easily take him down anyway.

Personally, I've killed him before a long time ago. I didn't know anything about the "zone event" at the time, but I saw him standing by himself in the entryway of a structure and figured it would be a fun challenge (I was the same level as him at the time). Once all the Spec-Ops popped out and surprise-murdered me, it became personal.. so I had to go back to finish them all off. haha
