I've been working on a Martial Arts/Shield Defense toon and it's been pretty good but I'm wondering is anyone has any experience/input on it. How does it play at higher levels and is it worth continuing?

Anything is worth continuing if you're enjoying yourself. It plays well at higher levels and with set bonuses it can be very tough and strong. It benefits from getting defensive powers like combat jumping, manuevers, and weave, as well as benefiting from extra resistance, regeneration, and recovery. I'd take the fighting, fitness, leaping, and speed pools and once I19 hits, I'd take the leadership pool.

This is my current build. I played MA/SR as my main for years, but ended up switching to MA/SD. I really enjoy playing this character. I am sure I could tweak this build and make it slightly better, but I am happy with the performance as is right now.

Watch out for DE and you should be ok...
