If you are finding your updating speeds to be quite slow you can use an additional switch in your shortcut icon to tell it to use different ports.
Stop the updater and try the following:
1. Right-click your shortcut for City of Heroes/Villains.
2. Choose Properties.
3. In the Target field, add a space, a dash, the word "port", a space, and 13094.
Before:
"C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\CohUpdater.exe"
After:
"C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\CohUpdater.exe" -port 13094
4. Click OK.
5. Start the game normally using the shortcut.
If that does not help, try following the same steps again, but instead of 13094 use 23094.

Me, personally, I have the same time on both. 50-100 hours. Do we want to discussion the 50 hour diff?
For the Aussies here, do we get faster speeds on the EU or NA patcher?
And if I'm allowed to ask here, if I download the bulk of the data via EU and then swap the NA patcher in and run that, will I be fine?
