Damage procs in Burn

Does anyone know if Burn has the bug where putting a damage proc in it can cause you to damage yourself when summoning it?

Issue 16 made me feel like this.

I duno, but if it does I'm proccing the hell out of it. That's awesome. I know for at least a while the blaster version DOTs would hurt the caster.
