Epic Archetypes that may have already been suggested...
One, PPD. Paragon Police, Praetorian Police, something. I feel that's a system that could work out similarly to the Arachnos Soldiers. I know I'd love to get into one of those PPD hardsuits and give that a shot.

On the other hand, I soooooo want the Praetorian Police powers. The tricky part there is making their story content different enough from the existing Loyalist stuff.
Never surrender! Never give up!
Help keep Paragon City alive with the unofficial City of Heroes Tabletop Role Playing Game!
I feel I must let everyone know this. PRAETORIAN CLOCKWORK COSTUME IS ALREADY AVAILABLE. IT IS INCLUDED IN GOING ROGUE. The weapons system would be sweet to have though.
Paragon Police are really too basic to bother turning into a whole Epic AT. Outside of Hardsuits, and maybe certain units in the SWAT division, they can be pretty much be replicated by players already.

Besides the obvious perk of access to the Hardsuits, Paragon Officers could have access to better leadership powers (like the Soldiers), access to the PPD Drones, and some of the control aspects of the SWAT team (Flashbang, Glue Grenade, Tear Gas, etc.)
I can see Paragon Officers set up like the Arachnos Soldiers: Initially having a basic class with pistols and leadership powers and getting the choice between SWAT and Hardsuit at 24. Control/stealth vs power/durability.
The Psi-Division and Kheld cops are a bit iffy because they can already be replicated easily, but I see a lot of potential in a Paragon Officer EAT.
My main issue with this is... well, how much of a story could you get behind it (as an Epic, after all, it should have SOME sort of story to go along with it.)
I mean, the Khelds have the whole coming to earth - Kheldian war - prevent genocide and Nictus takeover bit.
VEATs have the "forcing destiny to your will" theme, even if it's not handled very well in the mid to later arcs. (They break away from the military, after all, and start off having to fend off attacks from their peers.)
Paragon police would be... what? Look past "I want the hardsuit," though it would be interesting, yes. What makes a PPD's (Edit: thinking Paragon, not Praetoria) *story* interesting and worth playing from 1-50 - without taking too much control away from the player and their own idea of their character?
How about the PrPD decides to take matters into their own hands by infiltrating the Resistence/Powers and trying to destroyit from the inside?
This is why I will call for Rikti EATs every time. I'd be content with Hardsuit costume options and the like. But a Rikti body type? With the armour and options? Hell yeah.
And they have not just one but two story lines available to them; Traditionalist and Restructurist. Hero and Villain. There is so much room for exploration of the Rikti back story that it's amazing it's not been looked at more before.
Really hope we one day do see a Rikti EAT.

GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

But I feel it bears repeating...
One, PPD. Paragon Police, Praetorian Police, something. I feel that's a system that could work out similarly to the Arachnos Soldiers. I know I'd love to get into one of those PPD hardsuits and give that a shot.
Two, Rikti. I know plenty of players would LOVE to make a Rikti PC. Some have had to content themselves with "human" Rikti (in the same vein as Kelly Uqua). With the versatility provided by the Rikti forces and their regimented system, I think this would be another good one for the Soldier of Arachnos build concept... Maybe even make a whole new series of costume sets just for Rikti characters.
Three, Praetorian Clockwork. Nothing complicated in this suggestion, I just want that THING that comes out of the back! Or that heavy plasma gun! *drool* Come on! We know that their programming makes for some of them going kooky sometimes!
