IO question
Hey what is the easiest way to get good IO recipes, and where to get em.

Out of those, buying off the market or using the new HV Merits will likely be the easiest & quickest route to IO recipes.
However, do not expect to be able to 'purple out' or outfit a character with the best items without some significant effort on your part.
I'm not sure H/V Merits could be considered fast unless you trade a lot of Reward Merits and Inf in to get extras. Otherwise, you can only earn one H/V merit per alignment cycle, which is just short of two days. Add to that the fact that you can only make one H/V Merit transaction in a 20 hour period as well, and it slows right down.
Markets and Tickets are probably the fastest, although obviously the Ticket rolls are random so you may not get what you want without rolling a whole lot of other stuff first. On the upside, you can turn around and sell the ones you don't want on the Market and use that Inf to buy the ones you do want.

1: I'm only looking at the reward/playtime metric. I can run the missions to get an HV merit in not much more than an hour total solo.
2: I'm considering an HV merit equivalent to approximately 100 reward merits.
3: I'm also assuming that a player would use more than one character to earn the HV merits, so the cooldown is less of a factor.
Considering those above conditions, HV merits can be obtained with less effort & time than an equivalent amount of reward merits (or AE tickets for that matter), and are therefore a better route to obtain rare recipes.
Buying straight off the market will always remain the best option though, in my opinion.
I'm applying a couple conditions when I say that HV merits are fast.

But yeah, I definitely agree that the Market would top the list regardless.
Actually, for me a-merits are much faster than the market. I'm a slow but steady marketer. I make about 3 to 6 million an hour farming (utter crap but that's the best I got), I can pull in 40 to 100 million a week off the market crafting (also crap but its the best I got), or I can do three oro arcs and 10 tip missions and buy a luck of the gambler... I'll take a-merits thank you.

a-merits? Is that "alignment merits"? Interesting.
